Jeff recently gave us a beautiful new kitchen and main floor update. After meeting with many other contractors Jeff stood out above the rest. His honesty and design ideas gave us comfort he would treat our 100 year old home like it was his own. He did not disappoint. Most of our main floor was taking down to the brick to install the new kitchen which included removing a long load bearing wall. We also got a new floor throughout, new pot lights, windows, insulation, and updating the heating. Jeff made the process very enjoyable, easy and low stress. He was onsite every day and kept us fully up to date with the progress. He took us shopping for materials and took us for a tour of the cabinet facility. Jeff and team were able to adapt to our many changes and additions throughout the process and we are extremely pleased with the end result. He finished on time and on budget. We have already started planning the next project with Jeff. We highly recommend you call J. Roberts and Associates if you are planning a renovation.

The plaster walls in our 100 year old home had many cracks and holes. Finer Edge fixed all the holes, repaired large cracks, sanded and painted. They made our old doors and trim look new again. They also cleaned up everything when they left each day. We will be calling them again for out next project.

Nathaniel JR was the lead for my project which included a new powder room, second floor bathroom gut and a new closet under the stairs. Being our first major renovation with a contractor we were a little scared to give the control to someone else. We received 7 quotes and went with P&P for many reasons including: they use modern materials like spray foam insulation and Kerdi & Ditra, were priced fairly, gave a very professional quote, a professional was used for each trade and we felt very conformable with Nathaniel. I can’t say enough good things about Nathaniel and his team. They showed up at or before 8am, left late and cleaned up daily to minimize the impact on our day to day life. Nathaniel made some great suggestions for the design and kept us informed every step along the way. They finished on schedule / on budget and we are more than happy with the final outcome. We will definitely be calling Nathaniel for all our future renovations.

George was a pleasure to work with. I hired George to board, tape, mud and sand our basement renovation. In our first meeting I could tell George really cared and he did not disappoint. George and his crew were punctual, clean and very professional. Since I was doing most of the reno myself, he would give me advice on other aspect of the job. He really does care about doing a good job and would go the extra mile on everything. He treated our house like it was his own. I would recommend George to everyone and will hire him for all my future projects.

The selection and customization at Boss Leather is awesome! We have a long narrow room were we wanted a sectional and a recliner to fill the space. Ralph and his son Rob helped us find the right style and sizes to fit the room and make it work in our space. We are more then happy with the furniture and the exceptional service provided by Boss Leather. We will be recommending them to everyone.

We hired New Canadian Drain and Plumbing for a second time to move a floor drain, install a backflow preventer and a bunch of other misc plumbing work. Their price was more then reasonable and they completed all the work in a day. As always they are very professional and left the work area’s clean. I hire New Canadian for all my plumbing work.

I had several companies bid for the insulation the rubble foundation in my basement. The quotes all came in around the same price so I ended up choosing Andrew and Foam Factor because I felt they had the best product and really seemed to care about doing a good job. They did not disappoint. The crew where very professional, did a great job filling all the voids while protecting all my electrical and plumbing. They cleaned everything up before they left. I will hire foam factor for all my insulation jobs.

This was our second time hiring Kiya since the first experience was great. We renovated our basement and were looking to add new potlights, switches, plugs and move a bunch of existing electrical. Kiya’s quote was very reasonable and he did not charge us extra after we discovered illegal junctions and other broken lights. He was onsite after the demo and returned to finish the job the day the painting was completed. As always he was clean, punctual and very professional. I would not hesitate to call him for any electrical work large or small.

Not only did they upgrade me to a high efficiency boiler and tankless hot water heater, but they also installed rad thermostat valves on our very old rads. It was a large / difficult job but they worked long hours to get it completed on time. The heat is now balanced through out or house. Would highly recommend them to everyone! Thanks.

Kiya and his team were great. We had several quotes for the work we wanted to get done and Kiya’s was the most honest. He explained everything and even told us how to fix some things on our own where others were going to charge us for simple fixes. He also made some great recommendations which saved us a lot on money. The work was done quickly and extremely well! Thanks Kiya, we will be recommending you to anyone who asks.

El Cheapo was recommended to us from a couple who used them on several occasions. They moved everything from our condo and large rental storage locker to our new house for a very reasonable price. Everything was moved without issue, even our “don’t move it” Ikea units. No hidden fees, stairs charge or weird rules, these guys are just awesome. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who asks! Thanks Erics!!

We had a leak in our 3rd floor loft and called a few companies to get quotes to replace the roof. We picked Megacity because their price was competitive and Tom was very thorough in his assessment of what needed to be done. A lot of rain was in the forecast later in the week so Tom got his crew out to complete the work right away. The roof, vents and skylight were replaced in a day and the eaves trough was replaces the following day. They cleaned up ours and our neighbour’s yards like they were never there. Thanks Tom and crew for your great work!!

I got several quotes for the installation of a dual ductless air conditioning / heat pump unit. When we met Mark we knew before he gave us his quote we wanted to go with him. He was very professional, friendly and explained everything very clearly for us. We were happily surprised that his quote came in the lowest. They came out a few days later and completed the work in 1 day. Their clean up after completion left my property cleaner then before. We now have heat on our third floor and will be nice and cool when the hot months come. Thanks Mark, Woody and the rest of the team for your great work!

I called New Canadian Drain & Plumbing because our basement sink was backing up. They scoped the line and found roots in our main line out to the city. They came in the next day, replaced the clay pipe and part of the vertical stack to add a clean out in case I need to snake it in the future. They cleaned up the area and the problem is solved. They also helped us get a rebate from the city. Nothing but good things to say about New Canadian Drain & Plumbing!

Purchased a Tempur-Pedic king size bed from Sleep Country. There prices were much better then other places I checked and the delivery was great. They were on time, took it to my 3rd floor loft, unpacked and set it up. Nothing bad to say about them like other people on this site but I have yet to try to return anything.
