Were disappointed in sales service. After much back/forth tub was del'd but not properly set up. We were not shown how to operate or clean/test - were told we need to book an in-showroom demo in couple to weeks to learn this. After many calls and texts they finally sent service guy to ensure it was operating properly and to instal arm for spa cover. We were told Sales offered service they should not have nor can they honour. We are very happy with the tub, but recommend before you buy, get clear written details on how and when del'y will be made, set up etc and what service they offer. Nick the recommended electrician was excellent, even showed up when he said he would!

Chris was a great contractor. Completely gutted our bathroom and did a beautiful job restoring (tiling, plumbing, etc) for the exact amount quoted and in the timeframe he said. He and his assistant, Thomas, are very meticulous about their work and gave us very good suggestions as they went along. They were on time every day and were careful about covering everything with drop sheets and cleaning up at the end of each day.

We had Gem convert a bedroom window into patio doors in 2010 and were so pleased with service, we had them replace other windows in our home in Aug'11. We had 2 quotes and Gem was lower then competitor, as well we felt the product being offered by Gem would be superior to what other company offered. Installation was done within timeline quoted, (albeit toward end of timeline and we called them to follow-up). The installers (Walter & Dave) were very professional. The install was complete within the scheduled day and they left our home and yard tidy and free of debris.

We had Gem recommended to us by friends who had also converted a window to a patio door. Tony the sales rep was quick to come out and measure and give us an estimate. Once order placed and door was in Gem warehouse we had some minor issues tying them down to installation date - we were under pressure to beat HST. Gem suggested we pre-pay to avoid HST, obviously we weren't willing to pay 100% before work is done, so we pressured them to get instal done in time. Walter was able to re-arrange his schedule and fit us in. He and his team did a great job cutting through brick, drywall, etc to create opening for door and finishing, including brick and wood trim was very professionally done. They cleaned everything up really well, no mess for us. All we had to do was paint the trim/wall!

The Sales person at the Sears Flooring store was not very knowledgeable, but the installer, Joe, that they contracted was awesome. He did a perfect job on the installation, and even went so far as to instal a new toilet for us, without an extra charge. We would use Joe again.
