I recommend pain more for better cabinets. We did not install these cabinets ourselves, but moved into a recently renovated house. However, the cabinets are all bubbling - the uppers at least. There are 3 doors that the covering is coming off - it actually feels like plastic. I would pay more for a better quality for sure if I wa to renovate my kitchen myself. I have not called them because I am unsure if they would replace the doors if I was not the one installing them.
