I've used Milton before and I wouldn't contact anyone else! His communication is great, he comes to the house with a wide variety of fabrics, and does an excellent job. Plus, he estimated a few weeks to get the job done (grey chair) and it was finished within days! A pleasure to work with and beautiful workmanship in the end. Thank you!

Moe and his team are incredible! Don't bother looking anywhere else. They are worth every penny and they do a fantastic job. They went above and beyond on the job we were quoted and then noticed our main entry walls were a little beaten up....came back the next day with a quart of paint and spent extra time doing touch ups. We have very high expectations and they always meet them.

Again, we hired Milton to help us make an old couch look new again and he did a fantastic job. Was helpful when picking fabrics, was quick with the turnaround, and the couch is absolutely perfect. He's definitely our go-to for upholstery!

We have used this framer for multiple projects....from framing photos, artwork, our marriage contract, and framing wallpaper. They are great to work with and they help problem solve. They never try to up-sell me and the work is extremely well done. I refuse to use another framer!

It's wonderful to get a job done in 1 day; however, I don't think I'd hire this company again. The job was pretty simple - 4 walls - no woodwork, no holes to patch, no ceiling, etc. but I think I'd rather pay a bit more and have them in my house a little longer if that means getting it done right (i.e. I should have used our regular painters instead of trying this company). Not enough prep was done to protect the woodwork and our floors. The white baseboards were spotted with the wall colour, as well as our wood floor. When I talked to the painter about how to clean it up he just told me to scratch it with my fingernail and didn't offer to help before he left. I contacted the salesperson (Pat and Darryl) and Darryl asked him to come back to clean up properly......still not done to our expectations. I can also see the strokes he did around the light switch and the plug outlets - plus I'm still waiting for my bouquet of flowers ;-/ MARCH 2015 A few months after the fact and they sent a painter to fix the eyesore around the light switch free of charge. Very grateful for their professional approach and response and now the wall looks much better. Appreciate the plant, but will still work with my original painters and pay a bit more. Thanks though!

I was very impressed with Igal. He was quick to respond to me (both via phone and email), he called to confirm the appointment time, and he took his time and did an excellent job. I will be calling him in the future and I've already recommended him to a few friends.

Milton was professional and pleasant. He said the cushions would be ready in 10 days, but they were ready in 4. He came on time, returned to make sure his measurements were exact and now I'm looking around my house to see what other items need to be redone ;-)

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with this company....felt like we were dealing with kids. Our floor is old and that can cause some surprises along the way, but these guys just kept making more and more mistakes. They didn't properly quote the job in the first place, they attempted to increase the cost mid-way through the job (luckily I had an email with the original quote), they left razor blades behind, they didn't clean the floor properly before sealing it (the first time around), they didn't properly drape off the house while removing grout and our whole house (ducts included) was a complete mess, there were scratches from the pads that we had to ask them to fix over and over again, and they had to come back many times to fix everything. A messy job, a long job, a ridiculous headache, and a battle to get the floor done to meet our expectations. Only reason I gave them 1 star is because they actually completed the job and didn't run away.

We had many areas of our house painted and we couldn't be happier. I have never seen anyone paint such a straight line! Ramin and his team were on time every day and the amount of prep they did in order to contain the mess was greatly appreciated. His painters were very quiet, respectful, and they worked incredibly hard. I would not hesitate to recommend Ramin and his team to others and I look forward to having them help us with other areas of our house.

We have an old chandelier that is very high in our foyer and it needed some major cleaning. I tried using the internet to find a reputable cleaning company, but came up with nothing. I saw the Sparkling Tears truck parked in our neighbourhood and decided to give them a call. From the beginning their customer service was top notch....Randy (who owns the company and works alongside his daughter) promptly communicated with me over email, he arrived on time and ready to work and his friendly nature made him a pleasure to work with. They did an amazing job on our chandelier, taught us how to clean our lower fixtures and even dusted the crown molding 20 feet high in our foyer. I was very pleased with their friendly nature and the job they did. I would not hesitate to call them again or refer them........Randy and his daughter are genuinely kind people that know their fixtures!!

We've used Lux for a few months now and I'm very happy with the job and their professionalism. They come on time every session, they take time to leave me notes, and Al is quick to respond to my emails. The house is immaculate and I love, love, love that they bring their own Eco-friendly cleaning products.

We had Alan test certain areas of our house for mold after noticing water damage and a funky smell......he came right away and quickly reported the lab results to us. The machine took a few minutes to gather air samples from each room and while we waited Alan allowed us to pick his brain regarding issues with our home (recorded in our home inspection done by someone else). He was respectful of the home inspector's report and provided a lot more detail! I also found his customer service (follow up phone calls, short time to respond to my messages, considerate messages related to my worry about the mold levels, etc.) was excellent.

We had Finer Edge work for us at our previous home so we decided to go right to them again. They did a variety of jobs.....painted 3 rooms, removed wallpaper and prepped some areas for future work. Overall I was satisfied with the final job, but that's after I pointed out some flaws in their work and had to send a few emails to get my concerns addressed. The painters we had were sloppy....dripped paint on our marble floor and countertop, paint splatters on our white trim and they damaged our wood floor (little dents that didn't exist before). Plus they didn't get all of the wallpaper removed. They were able to fix their painting mistakes (because of my emails) but the dents and the wallpaper weren't fixed....the project manager just changed the quote instead. I think we just got sloppy workmen (project manager tried to justify my concerns saying these painters have worked for the company for 20 years) and it caused some stress! It's unfortunate, because the company did good work before. We still have work to be done....think I might use this opportunity to explore some other companies.

We called Canada's Restoration Services to help with some suspicious areas in our basement. After lifting the carpet, mold and moisture were evident. Darren quickly gave us some suggestions of what could be the cause, and then he described the best procedure to fix the problem. He connected us with an air sample company and within days things were in action. Turns out the basement sample contained 80,000+ spores, compared to the air sample from outside of 600! Canada's Restoration Services came in the next day. They sealed our basement and started the process of abatement. After removing all of the drywall we found a buried window that wasn't properly closed off. A crack from the window to the corner of the floor was causing water to seep in....who knows how long this was happening! Darren checked in with us on a regular basis and he was quick to respond to emails. He was knowledgeable, considerate and reassuring. The team answered all our questions and worked hard from morning until evening. We had a very good experience with this company. Their customer service, experience, and hard work helped us realize we made the right choice.

We emailed Mark to come by for an estimate and he came within days. He was fair, professional and he gave us some sound advice. Just a few days later his crew arrived at our house and they did an amazing job. Our property looks great! They are coming back for some regular maintenance and I'm looking forward to it. Mark made everything very easy and we are happy that we found him!

Things we were happy with: John was friendly and professional He made himself available in a short amount of time He produced a comprehensive report soon after the inspection Why I wouldn't recommend this company: He didn't thoroughly report on the massive mold issue and foundation leak in the basement...which was visible to our eyes AFTER we bought the house ;-( ....we specifically asked him to investigate the room He subcontracted a roof inspector that suggested the roof would cost under one thousand to repair issues....after having multiple tradesmen in our attic and on our roof....the real quote is over seventy grand! Probably wouldn't have gone through with the house purchase if we knew that. Not sure either of them actually went on the roof!

We had a wonderful experience with Energy Crew Movers. While booking the job, the customer service and communication was exceptional and quick. They even showed up early to get the job started. They were efficient, friendly, and well worth it. I've recommended them to a close friend and she loved them too.
