My wife and I had experienced sewer back up in our basement in April 2020. Being a long time user of Homestars and happy with the results, we created a request for this work. Elie and The Plumbing Expert responded immediately. Elie was very passionate about his work, provided great advice and was a local professional with a good network. Elie gave me the full picture including permits and newer technology with back flow valves. The work was done earlier than scheduled and completed to my satisfaction. Elie has a great crew of guys, all who were polite, kind and helpful. GREAT WORK!

Called up Easy Flip and they immediately supplied an estimate price of work and scheduled a time suitable for my schedule. Zee showed up exactly as planned. Zee was an absolutely awesome guy. He was able to fix issue in a timely manner. Zee also gave great advice on other questions I had related to the garage door and opener. My sincere thanks for the great service!!

I helped my friend call your service for her A/C unit which was partially service by another company. QF dispatched a technician almost immediately. I understood the cost upfront and the technician was fantastic. He thoroughly accessed the problem, he shared insight and the process he would follow. He was professional, polite and kind. If you are looking for exceptional painting work, a company who can install crown moulding and do "popcorn" ceiling removal look no further. I found Euromaster Painting and Restoration (EPR) on Homestars and saw the reviews. I called and spoke to Peter who responded immediately. I had very little time to get my new house painted. Peter accommodated me during holiday season and within days was working on this project. Peter has a keen eye for detail; he is true to his craft and I am so fortunate to meet him. Peter and his crew completed the entire statement of work in less than two weeks. The work completed was amazing...I have never worked with someone as detailed as Peter. Peter provided frequent updates on work and worked with us on colour suggestions and ideas. Peter's input was very valuable to our project. After the work, Peter's crew did a great job cleaning up and took all debris. I will be using Peter in the Spring to finish work outside our home and after we complete some renovations. I was browsing homestars and found a promotion for fixer on the roof (FOTR) $450 to have gutters cleaned and minor roof repairs. I called and arranged for an appointment in October 2013. FOTR responded immediately and i was booking the appointment right away. Bruce from FOTR/Flawless Roofing showed up for the appointment with his guy. I really liked Bruce, he was very thorough and detailed. He did his assessment and we reconvened to discuss next steps. My roof required some additional work and we agreed to the extra cost first. Within about 2.5 hours Bruce completed the work. Pictures were supplied (before and after) and property was cleaned up. I was very happy with the service and would use Bruce and his team again.

This past May 2012 my wife and I decided to move contents temporarily stored in storage back to our home (garage). Approximately 1.5 years ago we moved the contents to storage using Arby. We required storage due to renovations in our home and to de-clutter for a potential sale. Arby's was absolutely INCREDIBLE. It was easy to book with them via online facilities. Their estimate was reasonable. They were super friendly to me and my wife and very accommodating. Anil was one of the nicest persons I have ever met. These guys are NOT your typical movers. They are highly efficient though careful with your items. They made great recommendations. I would HIGHLY recommend Arby's. We plan to move in the coming year and we will use them a third time. We hired arcadia to complete this work in June 2011. Through estimate revisions we found that overall service ended up costing more than we anticipated $6,400. While Eric was pleasant, we had an anomaly that made us question accadia's protocol. Additional costs were encountered that were not discussed/approved at the time encountered involving a neighbour's property. That said, Eric agreed to stand behind any issue with this matter after work completed. Overall, workmanship was good and working crew was diligent and tidy. The crew was knowledgeable and hard working and provide regular feedback on their progress. The final results were super, my thanks to Eric and his team. We will post before and after pictures soon.
