My neighbour contacted myself regarding the replacement of the fence that divides our yards to which I agreed to being May 2020. I never heard anything from this neighbour till October 2020 when Collee Home Improvements was installing an inground pool for this neighbour. I was only shown a price - no details of materials required and their costs, labour costs, 9 post holes dug and 6"x6" posts. Collee had some 6-7 employees working on this fence which should had required no more than 3 employees and took several days to complete. Total cost of material for me to purchase would had been would be what I paid for my 50% share of the costs which totalled $2,041.82. My neighbour never paid what I paid and there sure was a lack of transperacy and honesty by Collee and my neighbour. I would never recommend Collee, yet there are some nice employees working for this Business. In 2005 I installed a similar fence which I hired a business to dug and insert my posts and I personally did the rest of the fence, which was eight feet high. I am almost 71 years of age and am very unhappy.

They did the job but did not inform me at all, verbally, that I was responsible to secure their job site to prevent people or animals from walking on. Well, animals did. They came back and re-did the job which was totally unacceptable that it was which had looked great. They stated they would repair their poor workmanship which left many trowel marks and uneven application of the rubber and refuse to repair damages. I made their workers job feel welcome and provided beverages and was asked, many times, by them how it was looking. When re-doing the job, I pointed out areas and I would had done better talking to the wall. They stained by vinyl railing, concrete, wood trim and interlock brick which they refused to repair. They said they would come back but never showed up and never contacted myself. What Duraroc says verbally can be taken with a grain of salt. Very unhappy with this company which is "Mike Holmes" approved. Whatever they have state, has been all recording.
