We first hired Chris and his team in 2019 to deal with some rotting window wells. He did a beautiful job restructuring them with block retaining walls rather than wood, and tied them in wonderfully with our existing pavers. We were so impressed that we had him rebuild our deteriorating fence the following year. When a collapsing retaining wall was uncovered by the fence removal, he quickly gave us a new estimate for wall replacement (again with blocks) and integrated it into the fence plan. This year we had him rip off our wooden deck and he gave us a new, beautiful deck which we are eager to use next year. His estimates are always accurate and the quality of his work is fabulous. He is a professional and a real joy to deal with.

While Noort may have been an exceptional company in the past as another reviewer has said (and we believed this also), our 2006 house made by Noort has become a money pit. Substandard work which we brought to Noort's attention was not repaired by them and has set us back financially. Other professionals have told us Noort's reputation is no longer justified, and we agree. Our retirement is being delayed due to the costs we have incurred in repairing their deficiencies.

We bought our home new from Noort Homes and 8 years later were faced with a repair bill which will likely be $20,000 or more. The wrong tile was chosen for our shower leading to water infiltration into the drywall behind it (they hadn't even used aquaboard). As a result we have mold, rotten wood and all the tile around our shower, tub and the floor has had to be removed. Noort was made aware of our problem when the water leak began (when the house was 6 years old) but has denied all responsibility and refused to even contribute towards the costs of repair. The house in general was done fairly well but they don't take responsibility for their errors.
