From the moment I spoke to Scott (Deck Guys East) on the phone I knew he and his team were the best people for our job. Scott has a fantastic rapport with anyone he speaks with. He made myself and my family feel so comfortable when replacing and upgrading an old falling apart front staircase and deck, and a non-functional back deck of our home in Lakefield, Ontario. He and his team were so professional, efficient and curtious. They were always there when they said they would be, the job was completed on time and they were so kind and respectful to our neighbours and my family. Scott and his team were very fair in price and did everything they could to make this happen as cost was a concern for us. Scott went above and beyond and suggested a glass rail instead of the typical metal rails which enabled us to have a beautiful view of the lake from the deck. He also suprised my dad with glass on the staircase which we never expected. The Deck Guys also kept the property and surrounding area so tidy and neat and even helped neighbours with some heavy items they couldn't dispose of themselves. I can't say enough good things about Deck Guys. Scott and his team are amazing to work with and we are in the process of planning out another project with them at this current time ! Everytime we sit out on our deck we are so thankful to Scott and his crew for the amazing job they did and what we have now compared to what we had in the past! They turned a non-functioning and dangerous back deck into a beautiful oasis! Thank you Scott and team!! Please see attached before and after pictures !

I have been meaning to write this review for month about how great Peg Corporation is. I called Peg to help with my parents kitchen IKEA renovation in July of last year 2019 and I was so impressed with their services. My parents had not renovated their kitchen in 40 YEARS!!!! I wanted to use Peg with my own IKEA kitchen renovation but didn't know about them till after but I needed a full renovation company that can do it all from design to install to finished product, so when my parents started showing interest in renovating I called them. Alan, the owner of the company, came quickly to give us a free consultation, he was so kind and professional especially since my parents didn't want to spend much and had no idea what to expect. He gave them 3 options he saw from just looking at their kitchen which all made total sense. He spent so much time at our house and never rushed us, he was so knowledgeable and helpful. He took measurements of the kitchen and after our consult we paid Alan to come up with an IKEA design for us, for $350.00 Alan uses the IKEA planner and came up with some excellent designs, he even was able to figure something out nobody saw, to move the fridge into a closet that housed a duct and that allowed us to open up the whole kitchen! You can't get a design for a kitchen cheaper than this! The IKEA design site is hard for anyone without design experience to use and because of Alan's experience he knew exactly what sizes, dimensions, and suggested what type of cupboards and how deep to use. He spent so much time on the phone with me going back and forth to perfect the design. I also spent many hours on the phone with Michelle, the office administrator and IKEA KITCHEN EXPERT! She was so knowledgeable, helpful, kind and not pushy for us to go with Peg. On top of that, if you go with Peg, they will actually (for a small fee) order all the IKEA kitchen for you. I WISH my parents had gone for this feature, but they didn't and we spent about 10 hours in IKEA and back and forth NUMEROUS times after to buy parts and return parts. Also, they can do a full renovation including floors, countertops, structural, electrical, plumbing. Or they can just do an IKEA build and install. Again, for a fee that was totally reasonable they would order and build and install the IKEA cabinets. My dad of course being super old school decided to do most of the work with a contractor/friend and didn't hire PEG to do the build and install. I again WISH he had, he spent a full week plus putting together cabinets and going back and forth to IKEA! Peg can build and install in about 2 days. My dad also developed sciatica from all the heavy lifting and building and awkward positioning. I asked him after if it was worth saving the money.... I'm still waiting for an answer! :) Either way, it got done, the design from PEG was incredible and their 40 year old kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. I was so impressed with PEG I would recommend them to anyone interested in an IKEA kitchen, if not for the full gut and renovation then for the design and consult, for the ordering and installing. They were even willing to work with my dad and do part of the work and he could do the other parts. They were so flexible and willing to work with us to make my parents happy. It was a pleasure getting the design and learning SO much about IKEA that no rookie IKEA kitchen installer would know. Just because IKEA offers the design plan online, don't think that just anyone can put together an IKEA kitchen!!! Call Peg! Thanks from Dalia, Jeffrey & Brenda! :)

I have been meaning to post this review for about 2 years! So Sorry Vitaliy! I was so happy with the service and the job that Vitaliy did replacing the fascia and soffit on my house. He was so fast to respond when I first called and came to my house for a quote right away. He even gave me advice on what to use and colours and left me with the material to decide. His price was very reasonable and he was on time and super professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to improve their home! I love the way my house looks now! Thank you Vitaliy! Sorry i can't seem to upload the pictures. i will try at another time

A few months ago I asked a general contractor to look at some mold that seemed to be growing on the wall inside my utility closet, when he reached up to turn on the light he looked up and said, to my horror, “did you know that was asbestos”? Turns out there was a wood beam visibly covered with an Asbestos wrap, probably from 30 years ago and someone had even cut in to it to install a light bulb. I freaked out and immediately started looking up abatement companies and found Canada’s Restoration Services who were rated number one. They put me in touch with Alan (who was also rated number one) who would come over to take samples of the asbestos and mold. Even before Alan came over we talked numerous times on the phone and he was so helpful in answering my questions, looking at pictures of mold and the asbestos I had texted him and explaining the process of testing and possible removal. When he came to my house he took samples and tested the air for mold. He was so knowledgeable and patient, as I ask a TON of questions and research every detail as I’ve made mistakes in the past of not asking questions. Within a week Alan called me back to tell me the air was clear of mold but I was still concerned about the asbestos so he came back and tested the air for asbestos and again answered a million questions I had. He eased my mind and gave me options and suggestions. The asbestos test came back clear but just knowing it was there was making me crazy. I decided to go with Canada’s Restoration Services for the removal. Alan walked me through the whole thing and was back again to do air tests for asbestos on all floors of my house just to be safe. The fact that he is a certified mold and asbestos tester makes him such a fantastic home inspector because he specializes in so many areas that affect one another. When you are buying a home, you are always told about knob and tube, but I never thought of asbestos or mold and my house is from 1902! He is extremely patient and thorough and has gone above and beyond all expectations and even provided his opinions on other areas of my house that have been an issue over the years. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in the market to buy a house or have any mold or asbestos tested. My only regret is that I didn’t have Alan as my home inspector when I bought my house 7 years ago.
