It is my pleasure to write a reference letter for Mr. Robert Doerksen as a general contractor. We decided to renovate our kitchen in 2008, and Mr. Doerksen was the contractor that we selected to conduct the renovations. We first selected him because of the comprehensiveness and quality of the quote that he provided. We were very pleased with the work performed in our renovation. It was a particularly difficult renovation, and there were substantial problems. The cupboards that had been ordered by the designer had been measured wrong by the company, and the company shut down Canadian operations in the middle of our renovation. Despite going significantly over time because of the cupboards, Mr. Doerksen returned and finished the job as soon as the cupboards were installed. He was always pleasant and polite, and provided various options (with varying price tags) when unanticipated events arose. The kitchen was finished in November 2008. We are still very pleased with the quality of the work provided and enjoy our kitchen every day.
