Williams and team built a beautiful fireplace mantle and installed a gas fireplace some years ago and when we ran into millwork issues with our kitchen reno, he was my first call We needed a custom panel to fit around a range hood and some drawer fronts to match existing drawers, and did top-notch work. He quickly made an appointment, took detailed and exact measurements and made sure to take a sample of the existing woodwork so that the colour, sheen and style would be perfectly matched. He also cut out some fillers to go around the rangetop that we had had installed as there was a gap between it and the existing cabinetry - which was complimentary. Everything was installed within a week, and I couldn't be happier with Premiere's attention to detail and fine workmanship - as always!

Very happy with Extel! Of the three companies I called, they were the only ones who were willing to come and do a quick in-person examination - the others wanted to give their quotes over the phone. Raz was punctual and very knowledgeable - gave me the pro's and con's of doing an exterior vs interior installation, flexible vs. rigid piping. etc. He took a lot of time and trouble to look into whether it was more cost-effective to do an interior installation (ended up ruling this out). On the day of the install he arrived on time, did a very efficient and neat job, and cleaned up the work area. The final installation of the rangetop went very smoothly by the manufacturer, as Raz had covered everything required by them for the gas line. Highly recommend Extel!

Hossein and his team were great, as always! A couple of his crew installed some potlights for me some years ago and did such an awesome job, his company was the only one I called for a more extensive job a few weeks ago. We needed new potlights in our dining room, replacement of existing older lights in the kitchen and a couple replaced in our basement. They were fantastic! - prompt, worked quickly and efficiently, and did neat and clean work. Hossein also advised me on the best placement of the lights, especially with the most aesthetic placement for pendant lights that I planned to install in a 2-island kitchen. They were also able to reuse existing dimmer switches, rather than charging me for a new switch. After they completed the job, we asked for a change in the wiring of the switches, and he came promptly and took care of it. Very happy with this company , and I would never call anyone else - they do great work, are meticulous and charge fair prices!

Eco Comfort has twice done insulation in our home, and both times they were outstanding! First it was for our attic a few years ago, and then just recently, over the kitchen area (separate roof). Patrick was prompt to call back, gave a very competitive quote and the crew arrived on time, were very efficient and neat, and did a great job overall. Patrick even left us a large amount of batting insulation for a small area in our wall that we were renovating, when we asked. Would highly recommend them for any insulation work!

Alda did a fantastic job replacing our old front steel front door with a fiberglass one, complete with full-length sidelets! Leo took the time and trouble to make an in person sales call, brought brochures and clearly explained the pro's and con's of fiberglass vs steel. I had already researched the topic and found him very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. He also did not try at all to upsell, just told us everything we needed to know to make a decision. Alda had a very competitive quote, and everything went on schedule. It was a 3 month wait and Leo was very proactive during the time, keeping me up to date on changes, and responding promptly when I had any questions. When the door was ready, the team arrived promptly and very efficiently installed it. The owner came himself to inspect the job on in progress which was very reassuring! The door is a huge upgrade from what we had before, and I just love the look of the fiberglass and all the light coming in to the hallway. They also installed new trim, doorstep and lintel, and the whole effect is just beautiful! I had some further questions about the door the day after the installation, and again, Leo responded quickly. So very happy with our door!!

Israel recently installed french doors in our living room, and replaced outdated sliding glass closet doors with shaker paneled solid core doors in our front hallway. His quote was fair, he was very responsive, really pleasant to deal with and super quick and efficient! He had the doors ordered and installed within a couple of days from when I placed the order. An adjustment had to be made to one of the doors and he returned promptly to do it - the doors look beautiful, and are a huge upgrade to the builder basic ones we had before! Highly recommend him, and plan to hire him to replace the other doors in our house. Update: A couple of weeks after the above job, I asked Israel to install 4 more shaker doors on our main floor and on the upper floor (to match the other new ones) and he did a flawless job again! Everything looks beautiful and works great! There was a pretty short turnaround on this one, but he managed to get the order through and complete the job right on time.

The entire team at D&M did an amazing job on the custom shower door install for our basement bathroom reno! The door is perfectly fitted and hung, and gives such a beautiful finished look to the whole bathroom. Very happy with everything, especially for the time the glass team and Remy took to come back, replace the tile that cracked during installation and then finish hanging the door. It was my first time getting a shower door installed and Tara patiently explained all the options, answered my questions and then honored my quote when I came back some months later to place the order. The whole process was seamless, the team was quick and efficient and the result is fabulous!

Melvin and team did a fantastic job on the reno of our basement bathroom! It was completely outdated and he installed new shower tile, a shower niche, new floor, sink, vanity and fixtures. The result is just stunning! Melvin has done some smaller jobs for us before and as always he was really great to work with. He and his team put down waterproof paper and taped down all the surfaces that they walked over, and cleaned up every evening. He was efficient and thorough with everything - he was able to bring our job forward by a few days, and volunteered to go and pick up a fixture from a warehouse rather than wait for it to be mailed. He was thoughtful in starting the floor tile from the doorway, so that the design would show to its best. The pattern I chose had to be aligned correctly as it spread over multiple tiles, and he laid everything out in advance to be sure there would be no mistake. He also advised me on the best placement for the towel bar and toilet paper holder, even installing the towel bar I had bought in another bathroom, as it was too big for the space in this bathroom. He really has a good eye for design - helped me pick out the light fixture and used the tile from the shower as the baseboard, as well as using a gold-coloured metal trim in the shower to complement the gold fixtures. All in all, could not be happier with the work, the price and the awesome customer service!

Moe installed faux wood blinds in 6 of our windows a few weeks ago. His workmanship was impeccable and he was a real pleasure to deal with. He was quick to respond to my original request, scheduled an appointment right away and took Especial pains to ensure that the blinds I chose matched ones I already had in the houae. He was never pushy or tried to oversell me. I actually found a pretty big variation in price when I looked for quotes and Moe's was not the lowest quote...I was almost ready to go with the lowest quote on a non name brand blind and had already told Moe I was not going with him. However, Moe was extremely patient, kindly provided me photos and prices of the brand he was going to use, answered my questions, and gave me time to make a decision. I then felt confident in hiring him instead, and am so glad I did- the blinds look beautiful and were very well installed. Moe was prompt, quick and efficient, and I could not be happier with his service and professionalism.

We had several cold draughts in the house, from both windows and exterior doors, and Melvin did a great job caulking and weatherstripping everything. He was very responsive, showed up on time, made a thorough evaluation of everything that needed to be done and then returned to take care of the issues. He also came back when we noticed the weatherstripping for one of the doors had not expanded as much as expected and he brought a thicker strip and re-did it. He did not over-quote or over-sell (another contractor had suggested replacing our doors altogether), and was very pleasant to deal with. He also explained the kind of more extensive work we would have to do to completely fix the problem in poorly insulated kitchen exterior walls, but left that up to us.

This was our second time working with Colin and he did an outstanding job! We renovated our home office, put in built-in desks, bookshelves with cabinets and a window-seat. Colin took a lot of time - and many visits and calls - to measure, discuss the project, and drew sketches to help us visualize what the room would look like. He had many good ideas to improve the design, and was able to foresee design issues and discuss them with us in advance, so that we could arrive on solutions together. Lastly, he was meticulous in doing the work throughout, coming back to make final paint touch-ups and adjust the setting of the file drawer. We are so happy with our new home office!

Elton did a complete reno of our kids' bathroom and we couldn't be happier with the end result! His was one of the more competitive quotes, but I was mostly struck by how knowledgeable he was about the whole project, from start to finish. I had done some research on the project before hiring, and he was able to answer all the questions I had, explain pros and cons for how I planned to do the reno, and gave me excellent design advice when I wavered between different options. Throughout he was patient, responsive, and the team he worked with - assistant, plumber, electrician, carpenter - were all great! The job was completed under the time he specified, he and his assistant arrived early each morning, put down protective paper, and cloth tarps on the hallways, floors and stairway, and cleaned up every evening. He was meticulous and thorough about every aspect of the job, it felt as if he was working on his own house. At every step of the reno, he called me in to check out how things were going, made sure everything I had asked for was being done. I had supply challenges with materials getting delayed (the bathtub actually had to be cancelled and re-ordered from another supplier), and he was never upset or impatient, but in fact even looked for another tub and offered to pick it up for me. Bath Style did a truly fabulous job bringing my vision to reality - I was looking for a more adult bathroom for my kids to grow into, had pictures of the custom vanity, fixtures, pattern and setting of the tile - Elton looked at everything, took great pains to match patterns and colours, right down to the perfect colour of the grout. Look forward to hiring Bath Style & Co. to renovate our 2 remaining bathrooms!

Kiya was very responsive and punctual, gave us the most competitive quote and did a great job! We just needed some small things done - put in a new electrical outlet, install a pendant light and a semi-flushmount - he and Luis arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up the work area, and Kiya gave me some good advice on the types of bulbs I would need in other light fittings in the house. Thoroughly recommend his work and professionalism, and will call him for any other work we need done!

Andrei and his crew did a fantastic job, and the floor in our renovated home office looks amazing! They kept the work area clean every evening, minimized dust and disruption, and were very thorough and careful in installing, sanding and staining the oak floor to match existing flooring. A close match was what we had been warned by several contractors would be the hardest job, and we are really happy we went with Tip Top! Andrei gave us the most competitive quote and took time to explain upfront any issues that might arise with matching the stain. When it came to matching, they showed us how various combinations of colour would look, made an additional colour when we weren't completely sure about the versions they had, and then did an amazing job finishing and staining to match. This was a small job, but they took a great deal of care to ensure that the final product was perfect - I could not be happier!

Colin did a fantastic job! We had mirrored sliding doors in the closets in three bedrooms and he gave me the most competitive estimate to remove and replace them with regular wooden doors that opened out. He was very easy to deal with, explained what he would be doing, and was always patient with my questions. The job took a couple of days, and he did the cutting down of the new doors in our garage, cleaning up both his work area in the bedrooms and the garage and left everything very neat and tidy. He was kind enough to haul the discarded doors down to the basement, and spent a lot of time making sure the doors were even and swung properly. After he was done, I saw that a couple of doors were a tad out of alignment, and he immediately came back and evened and re-set them. I recommended him to some friends and will definitely give him a call for other woodworking/carpentry jobs that come up.

Great experience, and excellent work! Charlie was prompt in making and keeping an appointment to review the work to be done, gave me very good recommendations, did not push for installing something expensive, but gave me his honest opinion of the type of blinds I would need. I went for the faux wood brand he recommended, and could not be happier with the results! Pedro installed them beautifully and was very efficient and quick. I plan to hire Wincon again when I install Roman blinds.

I cannot say enough good things about Williams and his various teams who completed this job for us! We had an ugly off-center wood burning brick fireplace, and he centred it, built a beautiful wooden mantle with marble inset and hearth and replaced it with a gas fireplace. He was always responsive to my many questions, took time on his first visit to explain how everything would be done, provided a technical drawing of the final product (and put in place my requested changes), and was overall very patient and committed to giving me exactly the fireplace I had hoped for. The teams who worked on the various tasks were likewise great - always cleaned up and left a neat work area; the fireplace installers in particular were very meticulous about trying to get the fireplace as centered as possible; and Wilson, who helped install the mantle at the end, was very painstaking in making sure it looked perfect. Will definitely call Williams for any other custom millwork that we need done.

I’m so happy with Hossein and his team! Hossein responded promptly to be request for a quote, and scheduled the work within a week. His quote was the most competitive and I liked that he was able to tell me quickly in one phone call what it would cost. His team was wonderful - professional, conscientious, cleaned up completely and did really neat work. They took a lot of trouble to explain where they would be Driving the holes for the potlights and checking several times to make sure I was happy with the placement. They added 8 new lights in a room that already had 3... The original lights had not been put in properly and the team had to contend with wood and metal beams, but they were very careful to get the best alignment possible. They also put up some ceiling lights, and Hossein did not even charge to put back the shades on 2 existing flush mounts. Finally, the team removed a wall sconce and switch, and were able to disconnect the electrical connection...they even nailed in some wood brace so that we could patch it up later. All in all, they were just a pleasure to deal with...ours was a relatively small job and they took a lot of time and trouble over it...I’ll definitely call them again when we need more electrical work done.

Nick, Peter and Dimitri did a fantastic job on our house! Nick responded promptly to my request for a quote, gave me a quote right away, and was great about answering my questions and concerns about how they would protect the floors, walls, etc. his quote was the most competitive, and he guaranteed to have the job done in the best timeframe of all the companies I spoke to, with minimal disruption. The ceilings look amazing, and I’m so happy we went with them. They protected everything beautifully, right down to marble floors, and a wallpapered wall, they were punctual, professional, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. A couple of the ceilings had issues with unevenness and dimpling beyond the popcorn, and they fixed these issues to look perfect, too.
