Pool supplies and technical help
We have been using Recreational warehouse for all of our pool supply needs for years. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The free water sample testing is a great perk and the accuracy of the readings keep our pool in perfect shape all season long.
I called Jeff because our pool heater wasn't working and he arrived on time the next morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem and offered me a couple of options. In under an hour the pool heater was functioning and ready to go. Jeff is very courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely call him again.

I called DanMac because the basement shower was backing up. I spoke with Vivian, who was extremely helpful and arranged to have Kevin come to my home within the hour. When Kevin arrived he explained his course of action and put a camera through the clean out to find the obstruction. He was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem. I am so pleased with the work done and will certainly use DanMac's services again!!!! Anna-Marie

From my first call to the Duct Cleaning Specialists I was impressed! Paul and Steve came to my home within the time frame specified and treated my house with the utmost respect. They put down tarps, removed their boots and went to work. I have had duct cleaning done before but never as thorough as this. As if this wasn't enough the company offers a free furnace cleaning with a $25 donation to the North York Harvest Food Bank. This company is very professional and does outstanding work! Hi Anna, thanks for taking the time to write about your experience with us. It was a pleasure meeting you. We treat each and every home wit the utmost respect, so with it being a little wet and snowy out, putting the tarps down to cover the flooring only makes sense. We try and do a thorough and proper job, as you see before, no panels in the main ductwork were created, so how did any debris get removed? The furnace itself that you have serviced by... hopefully they can credit you something due to the fact that you've been paying for a furnace cleaning, and it looked as though it had never been touched in 20+ years. Glad we were able to get that cleaned out and showed you first hand, so when the guys do come to do the cleaning, at least you can say "hey, you should be doing this and that etc." We try and give back and raise funds for various charities, and have been doing that for the past several years, so helping out where we can is important, so thanks for helping with that donation, it is appreciated. Cut opening of a window to install a sliding door
We first dealt with GEM when our bathroom renovator used them to install a new bathroom window in our home. We then went to their showroom and spoke to Spiros regarding a patio door installation. Spiros walked us through our options and came to look at the house so that he could accurately address our needs and provide us with a firm quote. My concern was that we needed to cut the window opening to now accommodate a door. Quality, customer service and cost are very important but none will matter if you don't have a qualified installer. Joe is that guy. He came to my house (on time) laid down tarps and worked mainly from the outside. He was courteous, respectful, accommodating but most importantly a master at his job. We are extremely pleases with our new door and the fabulous job that Joe did to install it to perfection. Thank you GEM for a great experience!
I contacted Core Temperture yesterday afternoon and Richard answered the phone (NO ANSWERING SERVICE!!!). I told him that my furnace wasn't cycling properly and he gave me some idea of what the problem could be and was out to fix it first thing this morning. He told me that the sensor needed to be cleaned and explained that the thermostat might also be causing some problems. He checked for cracks and even showed me what he was inspecting. He explained what he was doing step by step. Since he left the furnace has been running smoothly. I would definitely call Core Temp again. Great customer service - Thanks Richard.
