In 2006 I was waiting to play golf when a good friend had to cancel because an emergency roofing issue came up. He had his house listed for about a week when he woke up to water dripping from his bedroom light fixture. By the time I met up with him at his house the owner of Power K was on the site with an estimate of $1,000 to repair the hole a raccoon made in the roof. The next day the rain stopped and house was back on the market. The next year I needed my 120 year old roof repaired and immediately thought of Power K. For $7,000, three layers of shingles and the remnants of the original slate were removed and the wood was replaced. My parapet wall was stabilized and a fresh layer of quality shingles was put in place. In 2009 my low pitch kitchen roof needed doing because the leakage around two skylights and a defunct chimney. Power K took care of this for $1500. They were my first choice for dealing with my crumbling parapet wall in 2010. For $3,000, this wall was removed and the roof extended beyond the exterior wall. Eaves and soffit were added as well. Now that I no longer have roofing issues I have time for other things - like writing excellent reviews for this company. Super friendly, prompt and affordable - what else does anyone one want?
