We hired Acadamar to reset our front retaining wall. Not a huge job, but was so impressed with the care Angelo took. They pointed out foundation issues that he recommended fixing first so we wouldn't have to re-do the work he was doing, as he was certain we had water issues in our basement. We did. It took us a year to sort it out and Acadamar waited patiently for us to resolve it. They did a beautiful job and our neighbours even took notice - the crew got dragged from door to door (we live in a line of townhomes) with people asking for similar work. I would highly recommend Acadamar.

Derick is the raccoon whisperer! We had the unfortunate experience of having a litter of baby raccoons birthed in the ceiling directly above our bed in our master bedroom. The mom had made her way into our roof through removing a vent on our roof deck. Derick put in a one way door so the mama could come out BUT not back in and then miraculously retrieved the babies by cutting a hole not much larger than his hand in the EXACT spot where the babies were huddled. The babies were newborns so they weren't releasing much heat - they were not detected with his heat camera - he listened for them and figured it out. Seriously amazing. He then put cages over all of our remaining vents to keep this from happening again. I will use this company again if needed and recommend calling them if you are ever in this situation. That being said, I hope to never see them again ;)

We are very happy with our new front door. The quality of it is excellent - very solid - with a 3 point locking system. We had very good contact from the moment we asked for a quote through to installation. No surprises, very good workmanship and you could barely tell that a new door had been installed when the crew left. Happily satisfied.

We can't believe how great it was to have Imran come out and look at our fireplace. We were told by 2 previous technicians that we needed to replace our fireplace. For 3 years we haven't bothered to do anything about it - cost and time prohibitive. We contacted Imran because of his Homestars reviews to recommend and intstall a new fireplace. After inspecting ours he recommended a good cleaning and it's now working beautifully. He was also genuinely nice. 100% recommended!!!

I can't say enough great things about Harris Plumbing. We renovated our cottage bathroom and hired Harris to do the professional/technical aspects of the plumbing. The were amazing, even helping to organize an electrician. They were patient with our schedule and were always available when we needed them. Cindy kept everything running (she even climbed over snow drifts to get a spare key into our key box in the middle of winter when it went missing). Neil our plumber went above and beyond, even after he was finished to make sure our bathroom was running perfectly. And it doesn't stop there. 2 weeks ago we had an emergency blockage in our sewage line and Jeremy came out at 10pm on a Friday night and saved our 12 guest weekend. All are a pleasure to work with - not one of them could be nicer. I love this group of professionals. I will never call another plumber. Ever.

We would recommend Delco to anyone who asks us. Edan worked with us from the beginning and everything was done efficiently and perfectly. The installers were awesome, not leaving a spec of dirt behind, even adjusting our front door because it was "bugging them"(we will be replacing that door soon and we'll use Delco to do it!). 10 stars.

100% recommend. I had been wanting to replace the carpet runner on our stairs for the last 2 years and just couldn't bring myself to "deal" with it. Finally, one night I resolved to do something about it, checked out homestars, saw the great reviews for Victorious, sent a message and Mark called me immediately. He was in our home with samples shortly thereafter and the next thing I knew the carpet was replaced and I am thrilled. Our staircase is quite tricky - both fully wrapped steps as well as a runner sections with landings and turns. They did a beautiful job. Effortless on my part!
