Knowing how big of an investment a new home is, my wife and I really wanted to ensure we knew exactly what we were potentially getting in to with our decision. To help us with our decision, we knew we needed to obtain a home inspection by somebody who not only knew what they were doing but also we could trust. After much research online, we found Solex Group. From previous reviews, it sounded like Vahn was who we were looking for. Their prices are not the lowest, but for a purchase the size of a house, I feel that bargain basement pricing will get you bargain basement quality... From the pre-booking, the booking, through to the inspection and the supplied post-inspection support, I am very impressed. Prior to the inspection, Vahn made sure I was aware of the various things he would be inspecting, and the various things he could not inspect (no destructive tests), keeping my expectations managed. During the inspection Vahn was very helpful in providing useful feedback and knowledge to me regarding the current state of the house, and what sort of issues I could expect in the future. He also indicated where things would need a specialist to assess the full condition of an issue. All in all, Vahn was exceptionally friendly, professional and thorough, and I will have no reservations to recommend his services to friends and family. We were looking to add a 4 seasons sunroom to the back of our house, but wanted to keep it under a reasonable budget, and look like it was part of the original house. Not an easy task. Ivan sat us down and listened to our "dream list". He then worked out what that would cost, item by item, and then helped us modify our request to better fit our budget. Their system of quoting is brilliant, and very transparent. You are kept informed of the ACTUAL costs involved, not just a number pulled out of the air. You pay on month end based on what was actually purchased or worked on each month. We were very comfortable with their quote, very pleased with their work ethic, and beyond satisfied with Ivan's dedication to make sure we loved what was built. Their post-build support has been fantastic as well, going well beyond what I would have expected. I will mention that our project was a bit smaller than their typical work, but they had time to fit it in between other projects. I would recommend them to my friends and family any time.

Phenominal Service. They came in cheaper than the quote, and were beyond professional. I would recommend them to friends & family without reservation. On the morning of the move they called my cell and let me know there was a problem with one of their crew, and they would be about 30 minutes late. When they showed up they apologized, and got right to work. They worked tirelessly, and took great care to make sure nothing was damaged, and that everything ended up where it needed to get to (there were two destinations to the items being moved). They even helped relocate a piano from one wall of my house to another. No mix-ups... no hassles. Just great service. If I need movers again I will be sure to call Firemen Movers as my first (and only) choice.
