Very upset with the service I got from Merry Maids. At first they were very pleasant to deal with and offered the service I needed quickly. I had a conversation with them on the phone and said that I was already moved out and that I would not be back for a week after the move out. They were fine with that and let themselves in to do the job. A week later when I returned I saw the floor was still an awful mess, a few corners of the floor was still pretty bad from the movers shoes etc. Window sills had not been cleaned nor had behind appliances. My phone call with them before the start of the clean they said that this would all be done. When I showed them photos of the job they said that it was a week or so after they had cleaned and we made the mess again. That they have the best cleaners. They also said that large items were left behind and therefore they could not clean the floor. I had 99.9% moved already so nothing was left behind. As mentioned to them on the phone that no one would be there for a week and Im not quite sure how even if someone lived there for a week how the window sills would be that bad and behind the fridge would be dirty and dusty. I ended up losing $420 of my deposit as our past landlords hard to hire another company to come in and do the cleaning. They only offered us 20% off to do it all over again. Im very upset with the way they handled this - I told them on the phone that I didnt care how many hours it took it just needed to be done properly and they ensured it would. I do not recommend this company!
