I was extremely pleased with this company. After discovering mold in my basement (along the rim joists) I had 13 experts come to assess what was causing the mold. 1 was a general contractor, 1 was a home inspector, 1 was an engineer, 3 were estimators were from mold removal companies, 3 were estimators from landscaping companies (because I was concerned water was entering the basement due to poor grading), and 4 were from concrete construction companies (because there were 14 hairline cracks in the foundation and I worried water was coming in this way). Of all these experts Dan Joksimovic from Vericlean was the first one to suggest water was entering the basement via an improperly installed deck. Dan spent well over an hour carefully assessing my home even though he didn't receive any reimbursement for his services. All of the other "experts" (except for the general contractor) stated the mold was only coming from an improperly sealed vapour barrier. One of the "experts" (from a well known concrete construction company) even flooded the deck in order to prove that water wasn't coming in that way. I am so thankful I listened to Dan because when the general contractor went to remove the deck he discovered that there was only house-wrap under the deck (no siding) and there was no flashing behind the ledger board. When he removed the ledger board he discovered that the side of our house was indeed rotting! Thank you Dan and thank you Vericlean! I would definitely recommend this small business built on family values versus going with a larger franchised mold abatement company.
