In 2012 I hired Bayshore Construction to begin work at my rental property. I gave the owner Wade a $9,000 deposit to start work. I was unable to proceed with the project because of financial reasons and Wade assured me that money would be returned but that he couldnt do it immediately. Since then two and a half years has passed and I have still not received my deposit back. We have talked many times about the issue and I have suggested may resolutions to the situation. These have included monthly payments, continuously extending the time he needed to pay the money back, accepting a $9, 000 dollar renovation in lieu of the money and reducing the debt by 50% for immediate payment. Although willing to discuss options at first, no money has ever been paid and Wade has stopped responding to my calls. As of Oct 28th- 2014 I still have not had my deposit paid back to me.
