Had Gregory from Cerastone redo our main bathroom with marble floors, baseboard and sills. He did a very thorough job on the tiles and ceiling. Very happy with the outcome and the custom glass shower.

Hired BCS to do soffit vents after InstaInsulation came and baffled and blew insulation into the ceiling. The number of roof vents was the same as the soffit request and they replaced those by accident by doing the job earlier than scheduled. They made good on the mistake and cleared that charge and did the soffit vents quickly. Recommend for roofing needs. WIll use again on my new house.

Basement reno included a new enclosed bathroom, painted existing rough and exposed ceiling and the movement of the washer and dryer. The team and subcontracting crew is friendly, easy to work with, and considerate. They were able to start right away and work on the scope quickly and more cost effectively. However they have a few areas for improvement: Finishing - Painting and silicone is messy Rushed work - 2 leaks, poor patch work, cracked/missing grout, etc.. Follow-up: Volume of visits, not the process. Project Management not onsite and the same crew is used to fix issues after they have moved on. It took 9 weeks to get the variances resolved. I'm left touching up the walls and paint still.

We apologize for any frustration at the end. The project manager on your job is the very same Elia who is praised in dozens of reviews and is often requested by clients. He was going through a personal issue and that affected the final touches. Everything is ok now though thankfully with him and with your job. Inspection, Fireplace install, chimney fix
Inspection didn't fare well for wood stove. Gas insert ordered and installed. Took 4 visits to get it working. The owner finally came and fixed it. Exhaust and Intake were switched at the chimney top. Love the fireplace. Wish I knew it needed electrical to have the fan operating. Next winter!
Alex and Rus worked hard with attention to detail. They managed my requests that were poorly communicated. They addressed any of my concerns. The finished the posts and sides make it much more clean than the last deck. CrazyBee built a beautiful 2 tier open concept brown PT deck that will last a long time!
Provided a written quote. Called before arrival. Didn't try to upsell me to 200 amp. Fixed my panel and moved my laundry room from a switch to spare slots in my old panel with special breakers.
Private Waterline and Meter Replacement
The meter was installed by Ocean Mechanical, never tested. It works the remote does not. Two appointments they haven't showed up for, a staff that never returns your calls, and a voice mail system that isn't set up have resulted in the city wanting to do an inspection. OJCR still has not returned my meter to public works and also has a full mail box and does not answer the phone. Worst project ever.
We had a relatively flat roof with ice damning, too small of flashing, reused flashing etc. and had leakage. They came and gave me a written quote after inspecting and taking pictures. Raised my roof two inches for better airflow, added more vents, installed a new skylight, flat roof material and flashing in 2 days. Scheduled in advance.
Furnace Maintenance & Duct Cleaning
Estimate given over the phone. In line with Direct Energy only the anti micro-bacterial spray costs 50 dollars and is not included. The team checked my gas lines and found one uncapped, were polite and did a good job. Would recommend over direct energy any day.
Contracted by the city to replace lines to the property by the City. Requested a quote as soon as I was given notice for the private portion. Called the office 3 times, left my number, was told a written quote would be available 2 days in advance. Friday night they show up and prep and begin before 8 am the next day. No notice. Verbal quote on the fly only and they requested payment immediately before the meter is installed. Called 4 days in a row to schedule the meter after payment taken from account. No one returns my calls and the office staff and owner is rude. Response: Busy. The worst contractor I have ever dealt with. Crew worked hard mind you. Very unhappy with a supervisor that doesn't schedule or call me back, the owner for answering my calls three times and not doing anything, and staff that answer the phone that can't do anything but tell me to call the supervisor, Sal who is useless and claims the office never gave him my phone number or requests.
