After taking a look at the problem with my buckling ceiling, Viktor gave me a number of options. He was honest and straightforward and didn’t try to push the most expensive or mislead me in any way. He did a superb job. Very professional, very efficient, very affordable. I highly recommend Painter’s Idea.
My insulation contractor noticed animal infiltration into the attic and recommended we have animal control put up mesh or flashing and cover the roof vents. Kallen came over, patched the entry points with flashing and told me I probably don’t need to cage the vents, thereby saving me a ton of money. I was very impressed by his professionalism, efficiency and honesty. It was also much less expensive than other wildlife control companies I’ve encountered in the past who are always anxious to recommend costly extras. Swat Wildlife will definitely be my go-to company from here on!

I had an issue with my furnace and the office had closed but when I reached my salesperson, he offered to arrange a Saturday emergency visit at a slight premium. This was a relief.

We had a furnace installed by Airmakers along with a smart thermostat connected by Wifi. When Ww switched Internet providers and misplaced the original router, they offered to replace it free of charge even though the furnace was no longer under warranty. Very much appreciated.

We are not sure why a call was not made out to you. In your follow-up attempt, we scheduled a visit today and since the labour coverage is expired, this would have been a chargeable visit. There were some issues at first but the owner arranged to send somebody to deal with unresolved problems and now the door is top notch. Looks great and works perfectly!

We had Toronto Ponds and Water Features come to clean our pond and install a new pump as well as fix the skimmer box. That went OK. But when the pump came disconnected to the hose and we called to have them come and make an adjustment, they failed to return repeated calls and emails. The owner, Ross, simply disappeared. After my fifth or sixth call, I did get a call back from Ross but he hung up as soon as I answered and I still haven't heard back. I finally called another company to come and fix the problem and do regular maintenance. It's a little bit of a mystery.
I didn't see this review until now.

I was ready and prepared to willingly pay more for this company because their reviews were so stellar but it turns out their quote was actually less than other companies so that was a pleasant surprise. Chris and his crew were amazing. There was no garage door in place already so this was a trucker job but they figured out what needed to be done, finished the job much quicker than I expected and made sure the work area was spotless. Everything looks great and the door works perfectly and VERY quietly which is another pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this company!

We had the Home Inspectors Group/Ridge Energy come to do a home audit. First, the auditor shows up very late saying his previous appointment ran late. Then it took forever to set up because he said it was windy. When he finally got the door blower up and running, he did a very permemptory and rushed tour through the house because he had another appointment to get to. Therefore, I never really got a sense of where our trouble spots are which was the main point of the audit. They said we would receive the audit results in two weeks but it is now well past that point and we haven't heard anything. I've left messages and emails and they are not getting back to us. Very disappointing!

I was initially skeptical when I heard about this service but after doing some research, I discovered the US department of Energy recommends this method as the only way to seal ducts hidden behind walls and ceilings that can't be manually sealed. This company was great. Joe and his team were neat, efficient, friendly, and incredibly thorough. To my surprise, Joe went far above and beyond the scope of the job to fix problems by hand and identify furnace issues that had nothing to do with the actual job I contracted for, all for no additional charge. Now my ducts are running 20% more efficient, more than 90% of the leaks have been sealed, and I'm finally getting heating and cooling to rooms that were previously either ice cold or blisteringly hot. I highly recommend these guys!
