Nothing but praise for Luciano and his work! Quick and easy process to order our sign as we wanted it online, and he was at our house within a week's time to install - in and out within 45 minutes. We had done some stucco work right before winter hit, and missed the opportunity to do this last year before it was too late, so it's refreshing to finally have our address up to fill the gap! Also considerably cheaper than the competition (I found a few online shops, which would often go no farther than mailing you the sign with a template, but at a higher price). Cheers!

This is a positive review that is much overdue! After recently moving into our home, we quickly realized that our windows were in dire need of repair - and with winter coming I took to cold-calling everyone from the in-door flyers, neighbour's window installers (gotta love those lawn signs), and whomever I could find on google. I decided to go with Ambia not only because their pricing was better than 99% of other quotes received, but mainly because Ambia appeared to be a family-operated business run with heart - taking the time to listen to what we needed done, and be honest about expectations (cost, order fulfillment, installation). We had a tough time with contractors earlier in the year, and working with their sales was a very refreshing experience. One of our biggest worries was trying to beat the winter weather, as the cold (leaving windows popped open for the day during replacement) would pose a risk to one of our frail family members. Although Ambia had already gone the extra yard and pushed an install date ahead of the winter season, Tony had remembered our worries and (behind the scenes) beat our expectations - calling weeks earlier than planned for our installation - this was very, very much appreciated as well! The installers were thorough and absolutely fantastic - in and out on the same day. The windows install looks absolutely seamless; I always worry about contractors paying attention to detail and disaster scenarios, but Ambia was one of the few that exceeded expectations. We also elected to throw a bay window into the front living room area (attaching a picture to this review), and it was an experience watching the installers put it together - they are masters in their craft! As we continue with our renovations (some other contractors have taken Ambia's contact info, complimenting the windows and quality of workmanship), I'm hoping to take the next step with doors soon and will definitely be taking advantage of their services again - thank you Tony and team!

Great guys; I gave them a call based on a referral from a friend, as I needed a first and second coat after digging up my driveway. They showed up as promised, did a quick and efficient job, and were done before I knew it. No cracks, dips, or other issues! Would definitely call them again!

My wife and I called Five Star to help us during our home renovation project; we had recently purchased a home in the York Mills/Don Mills area that was in great shape, but needed an extra touch of class and some general updating. For the purpose of this review, we were specifically looking for crown mouldings to be done throughout the home, plus wainscoting in the main halls, and living/dining rooms. We were also in a time crunch to get work done, as we have dependents that can't live in a home while it's being renovated. Five Star gave us the quote and timeframe (start date + completion time) that we were looking for, and showed up as promised... and did all of the work - completed ahead of time. As some of the folks here on homestars probably know from experience, one of the most exhausting parts of a project is having to babysit contractors in your house and/or fight with them over mistakes or incomplete work - thankfully Five Star Crown Moulding delivered exactly what we asked for, and did an absolutely beautiful job . We also want to give them additional praise for taking on additional work and seeing it to completion along the original timeline. We had issues with our GC who demolished our baseboards/door jambs throughout the house. As we saw Five Star work, we also asked them to install new door jambs, baseboards, and shoe-in throughout the house. They did so - meticulously. If you want a company that you can trust to get the job done, on time, and most importantly with top-notch quality - hire these guys! They take the time to make sure that you get what you want, and will make your house look great! If you also happen to be home while they do their job, you will appreciate watching them work – like a hand-crafted precision timepiece. Thank you!!

Muhammed was absolutely great with us : I rented an insulation vac to remove our old insulation from the house, and he was there on a moment's notice to get the machine picked up, provide us with support, and was patient with us when we fell behind schedule. Thank you sir!
