Jordan and his team are great! I reached out to Down N Out Eavestroughing through HomeStars and had a message back the same evening. Jordan was out the next day to do an estimate for eavestrough replacement, which was very reasonable. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Jordan and his team returned the next week and installed the new eavestroughing with leaf guard, including a thorough cleaning of the site when they were finished. The new eavestroughing looks great and they were even able to make change around a corner which resulted in a much nicer roofline. I would definitely recommend Down-N-Oct Eavestroughing and would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

My furnace stopped working all of a sudden. I had good results with Friesen's in the past installing a hot water tank through Home Depot, so decided to contact them for a new furnace quote. Wendy at the office sent out someone to quote that afternoon. I had my new furnace installed two days later. Wendy helped me with my payment through Home Depot (18 months no interest as well as a 10-year parts and labor warranty) and advised me how to get the Energy rebate. The fellows installing the furnace worked hard to ensure that it would be working by the end of the day. Price was fair and comparable to another quote I received. I highly recommend this company and I will be using them in the future!

Contacted Carl for an estimate and had a very reasonable one the next day. Came by the day after and removed the trees - no mess left and no damage. Very impressed with Nanook Tree Services! I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Called Lehmann Plumbing regarding a kitchen drain that was clogged and backing up. They sent someone out within a couple of days who solved the problem with a pressure flush system (initially tried fixing using an auger, but this didn't work). The staff, both in the office and at my home, were friendly and personable. Work area was cleaned up very well afterwards. Price was reasonable and exactly what was quoted. Would highly recommend this company. Glad to have my sink draining again :)

Several years ago, Nomad roofing did a roof repair for me at my previous home in Edmonton – they quoted me a good price and did a great job. Another company quoted me 3 times the price and said I needed a much more extensive fix, which later I found out would have been unnecessary and costly. I have not had any problems with this roof since Nomad did the repair (I still own the home). When I needed a new roof on my existing 35-year old home, Nomad were one of three quotes that I received. They were not the most inexpensive, but based on my prior experience with them, I decided to go with Nomad. In fact, one of the other fellows who quoted me told me that if I didn’t go with their company, I should definitely go with Ryan and Nomad roofing! I felt this was one of the best recommendations I could get. The material I chose for my roof (Euroshake - looks great on my house) needed to be shipped from Calgary, but Amy (in the office) kept me in the loop as far as a start date. The crew was excellent and each day the area was cleaned up nicely. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this company is. They even came back this spring to check on the roof, as it had been installed in late fall 2015. Ryan, Stan and Amy are a pleasure to deal with and immediately responded to any questions or concerns I had. If you are deciding on a roofing contractor, you will not go wrong by choosing Nomad.
