We've had the pleasure of having Gareth and his team in numerous times over the past decade. From ceiling paint and repair to full floors of our home, Gareth and his team are punctual, tidy and easy to have around. I would absolutely use them again, for either interior or exterior work. Top notch!

We hired Dion and his team to help us level our backyard, install new interlock, build a pergola and add a french drain to move water away from the house. We were skeptical at his project plans, but he's a smooth talker, so we followed his advice. Bad idea. The patio has pushed the fence out so much that the stones are dropping inches and we are fearful that the fence will collapse. Stones have cracked, chipped and lifted. Water collects and pools at our backdoor. This happened within 9 months of the install and he has refused to return to repair or honour his work. We reached out to his team countless times, and he's dodged us every move. Very terrible customer service, and even worse construction.

On June, 2016 we started your excavation and waterproofing- installed new gravel, installed new weeping tile. We were requested to also provide rear hardscaping which included the installation of patio stones selected by the homeowners. Also, we were requested to install and renovate a new, pressure treated 2nd floor deck. We advised them that needed permits, but they insisted that we proceed without. We executed the job with perfection, left and everything was in order- with absolutely no issues. They then installed a hot tub on the patio stones that were installed and no issues. Fast forward to almost 3 years later to the day we started we received an email from Libby as too the fact that her patio stones were shifting. We replied to her email regarding the shifting of the stones and offered her 5 solutions. She declined because she was adamant that we needed to come back and fix the shifted stones at no cost.
We are sorry to hear that the stones shifted, but unfortunately the shifting of the stones has no correlation to Rock Bottom Underpinning workmanship and customer service

We had them come to do some routine tuck pointing and fixing the the stairs that had weathered during this years terrible winter. Only half the job got done, one step was completely missing, and the rest was done pretty sloppily. We had them here years ago and the quality and workmanship was totally different than this time around. We played telephone tag for weeks, when they finally came back to fix the step it was done uneven, so we basically have to do it ourselves unless we want someone to trip and fall. Large cracks that were part of the work order weren't even touched. We were beyond disappointed with both the customer service (repeated phone calls over and over from a blocked ID), the quality of the workmanship and then the repeated invoices to prompt us to pay (even though the work wasn't done).
Mike, it would have been nice if you actually read the contract that your wife and I agreed to instead of coming in all of a sudden at the end not knowing what the actual job was or where we worked, and also mixing up our work with that of some past contractor. You even sent me a picture of a repair we didn't do.
I had a talk with you on the phone and email exchanges, and you told me in writing that "one" item was actually missed from the work order -- which we happily came back to fix immediately. Both myself and my worker and our co-owner wanted to address everything and anything missed.
Then after we fixed the one item missed, even more time passed by with zero communication from you, and then when we followed up, we received an email response saying it was all bad and you still weren't happy. I offered to arrange to come out to meet you, for you to show me proof of what you were complaining about, and you wouldn't show me?
