Dennis (owner) came to our home and presented himself in very polite and accommodating manner. Dennis presented the options available with his recommendations. His crew was remarkably efficient as well as being very respectful to us and our home. Really, it doesn’t get any better than this.

He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Steve repaired the door with no attempt to up sell. He arrived promptly and did his job in a skillful and efficient manner.

We had contracted QTK to provide a high end kitchen cabinet renovation amounting to $55,000. Although the finished product finally turned out to be of good quality, the process was filled with untold tension. There were multiple delays amounting to over a month late before initial cabinets were delivered. The installation process took over anther two months before completion. Numerous installation appointments were entirely missed or hours late without any notice. Our phone, text and email messages, were not returned for up two weeks at a time. We were on a number of occations, insulted by their as well as enduring untrue representations. Defective doors resulted in arguments of responsiblity, QTK or their supplier and we were caught needlessly in the middle. It took more than two months to replace these defective doors. We also have a dispute amounting to just under $2,000 for correcting a design and installation error and as a result QTK will not honor a defective workmanship deficiency. I rarely issue negative reviews but this transaction was to painful too keep still.

Joe was prompt in his reply and arrived the next day with the part in hand. He did the repair in a professional and timely manner. He is now in our contacts list.

We called Direct Energy on November 12, to repair a Dryer under our home service coverage, for which we have paid monthly premiums for over 10 years. We were told that we would receive a call to arrange an appointment within 24 hours fromTrans Global Services, Direct Energy's appliance repair contractor. The call from Trans Global Services was not received, so we contacted Direct Energy once again. The Direct Energy agent contacted, Trans Global Services and could only arrange for a service call on November 24. When I indicated my dissatisfaction with this unreasonable wait, I was told that this was the earliest that Trans Global could make the service call. I had called Direct Energy on three subsequent occations in order to escalate this issue but did not receive a response. I was able to to find an appliance repair service on Homestars and have our dryer repaired in 1 day, at my own expense.

The project was handled in a timely and professional manner. Peter Mills made recomendation while on site that incurred extra work with no additional charge. His crew left the property tidy, ready to enjoy.
