Joseph called to make the appointment to view the chair as he said it was difficult to see the exact damage in the photo I had sent. When he arrived he communicated exactly what he could do to repair the dried and cracked front of the chair. The process was probably about 90 minutes or so and he was very professional and neat. We were extremely happy with the look of the chair (the dye matched perfectly) and that we would not have to replace it. After a couple of days we thought that the surface seemed somewhat rougher than we expected. I emailed Joseph, saying that it was not a complaint as I understood a chemical process had been done and maybe this was as good as we could expect. Joseph said that he would come back and inspect it. He agreed that after it was fully dried it was rougher than it should be and he completed another treatment on the chair at no additional charge. Now it feels just like the part that wasn't repaired. We are very pleased with the finished product and the attentive service Joseph provided.

I do not know the postal code of the company. I reached Bill by phone. A colleague had called him 2 weeks prior to my refrigerator breaking down and was very impressed. Our fridge was not cold and freezer had defrosted on Saturday. Called Bill on Monday August 11 at 10 am. He was at our home at noon. We were not sure whether to bother having a service call or to skip straight to the "new fridge" scenario. A couple of appliance repair companies we called didn't even service refrigerators! Bill was thorough, professional and knowledgeable. I was not present for the repair but my husband said that he went straight to the "starter", removed a panel and showed him the damage. He said that he would try a replacement part to see if that would fix the problem. It did. He quoted $250 including the service call. We figured we were out $1200 for a new fridge so we felt "lucky"! We were able to get some more time out of our 8 year old fridge. And another large company (it's a Kenmore fridge) wouldn't even schedule a repair appointment for 2 weeks!) Same day service and actual service. Wow.

Our ductless system was installed by Boonstra in 2002. We called for service when one of the units stopped working. We did not receive a call back to our initial call. We called a second time one week later. We arranged an appointment and a technician (Marco) attended and charged us $149 for a service call. He then advised us that our system was obsolete but he would attempt to find us replacement parts. A week passed and our subsequent calls were not returned. Finally we escalated the call to the manager who returned our call a couple of days later. I explained that we felt duped that they knew the system was not servicable and yet charged us for a service call anyway. After our last discussion some ten days ago the manager left us with the impression that he would still attempt to help us, but we have heard nothing and do not expect to. Very disappointing and terrible customer service. Obviously we are going to have to buy a new system and clearly it is not going to be from Boonstra.
