This is a new store and it is quite clean and nice. The prices are relatively reasonable and who can refuse the allure of the almighty Canadian tire money. However, the staff don't seem very knowledgeable. So you are pretty much out of luck if you need expert advice.
Ideal has a wide selection of Tiles to suit pretty much any kitchen renovation project. That is their strength. We were able to find tiles for the floor as well as the backsplash. The prices were acceptable though it could have been better. The quality however, was exceptional. Overall it is a great place to buy your tiles.
The store was stocked quite well but it is a large store. However, I had no trouble finding a sales associate who was happy to help me find what I needed. He was also knowledgeable and gave me advice on the installation of the fixture I was purchasing.
I find Benjamin Moore paints to be quite exceptional. I've tried other brands such as CIL and Behr and I don't find they go on quite as well. The staff at BM are quite knowledgeable. I only wish the prices were a bit cheaper and they had more sales. But I guess you get what you pay for.
