I have a renovation about to start and needed someone with broad plumbing, gas and HVAC experience. I need the gas shut off and capped, humidifier replaced and furnace serviced. They promptly responded to my inquiry, explained what would need to be done (in a way I could easily understand) and provided a firm quote. Super experience all around. Highly recommended.

Canadian Appliance Source is easy to find in Mississauga's Heartland Centre, just don't go there on Saturday's, they are not open. It is busy on Sunday's but has knowledgeable staff, be prepared to wait for a bit however you will get someone who knows what they are talking about when you do. I dealt with Gladwyn Mackinnon. Very professional and polite. We were specifically interested in a Samsung gas stove. Gladwyn found the model we were looking for. Canadian Appliance Source's price was excellent. Now for the not so good stuff..... We ordered our stove at the end of October, and it was not finally delivered until mid December. Originally we were told it was in stock, but then discovered when we attempted to arrange for installation that it was backordered. Instead of having Canadian Appliance Source contacting me when the stove would be available, we had to chase Gladwyn first by email, then by visiting the store (twice). The second followup visit resulted in another promise of a Samsung delivery shortly (and a $100 discount as compensation for our long delay). I was told that the problem was with Samsung's delivery. I drove to the Heartland Centre Home Depot, checked on their availability for the exact same model of Samsung Gas Stove. They had it in stock and were willing to commit to a delivery within 5 days. The price would have been $400 more. I presented Canadian Appliance Source with a choice: delivery date of the stove by a specific deadline or I would cancel the order. Gladwyn followed up by the deadline and the stove was (finally) delivered. Go in with your eyes open. They have knowledgeable staff who are professional. Their prices are the best. They don't however follow up at all well, nor do they appear to have product in stock. If your product is backordered, it can be a considerable period of time before you get it. If you are on a deadline for your appliance, the extra cost of dealing with another vendor may be worth your piece of mind that you will actually get your product at a time convenient to you. I will think long and hard about giving them my business again in the future. While I want a good deal, I'm not prepared to recommend them, nor trust them to deliver within a reasonable period of time.

Nick responded promptly to my original inquiry. He educated me on the real timelines when dealing with local appliance store I used (which took 2 months to deliver the stove) vs. what I was originally told. Straight shooter, does what he says he will do. He outlined accurately the cost for tapping and running the gas line from my furnace to my kitchen. Installation went smoothly and he followed up a couple of days later to ensure everything was as I expected. Would highly recommend and use his company again in the future.
