I hired Networx to replace 10 windows and a patio door after getting 3 quotes from 5 contractors. They weren't the cheapest, but they laid out in detail how they would do the job, and unlike the other companies, they seal the windows to the envelope of the house rather than simply jump fit inside the old cavity. They also give a written life time warranty for the job. The installation, by Dan, was excellent and they cleaned up their work space at the end of each day. I would definitely recommend they to anyone who asked, and would have given them a 10 except for a month long delay in getting the job started. Overall, I believe they are an excellent choice for window replacements as they deliver what they say they will, it just takes more time than you might expect.

We hired Nathan of Siemens Hardwood Floors to redo our floor through the main floor, and up the stairs. We didn't want engineered hardwood, and Nathan seems to specialize in unfinished floors. During the decision stage, Nathan brought us multiple samples of different wood products, and we decided to go with a solid Hickory. When the wood arrived, he wasn't happy with the quality of the milling, and made the decision not to install it right away because he felt it wouldn't look good. Instead, he lost two days of income due to scheduling issues related to getting new wood, and he worked with the supplier to get a new shipment sent. Throughout the whole process Nathan was worried about how we were taking the whole thing, and you could tell that he has a great deal of professional pride! The end product looks excellent, and my whole family is happy with the job he did. Replacing your floors is stressful, but working with Nathan reduces that stress level as you know you can trust him to do the right thing and to deliver a quality product. He earns a 10 out of 10!

I found Best Way Heating through Homestars and they truly live up to the 10 out of 10 rating. I was having trouble with a poorly installed furnace that started to leak after a year. I called Best Way Heating on a Saturday and talked to Jafar. I asked if he could come the following week and give an opinion on what to do, but instead of waiting a few days, he came that afternoon. He didn't try to up-sell me, but instead gave me a range of options and the one he thought was best. I decided to have him repair the furnace the following Friday. While I waited for our appointment, Jafar took it upon himself to contact the furnace company, and negotiated with them to give us a brand new furnace! As such, we got a new furnace, and he installed it correctly and professionally, and didn't charge anymore than what we had discussed previously. He worked by the hour, didn't waste time, and took the time to do a quality job. Hiring Jafar is a no brainer, he's awesome! You won't be disappointed with Best Way Heating!

We hired Robert to replace our furnace with a high efficiency one. He went out of his way to find us a suitable model that was economically priced as our old one stopped working and we were tight on cash. However, a year later, the furnace started to leak. I called Robert to ask him to repair it and he said that it was unreasonable to ask him to do the work for free and that was no warranty on labour. In fact, I was made to feel like it was my fault that I have the furnace I have even though I know nothing about furnaces and rely on the expert to get me the right product. Although I was an initially quite pleased with this company, I would no longer recommend them for furnace-related work.

I have hired Bob for 3 jobs now (between June 2013 and February 2014), and plan to hire him for my other jobs too. Bob is always on time, is competitively priced, and does great work! Bob has installed new outlets for our house, put in pot lights, and rewired 4 rooms so far. I like the work he does and I appreciate the fact that his quotes are reasonable and he doesn't try to charge more after the fact. I certainly would recommend him to family and friends.
