I wanted to have a thorough cleaning of my apartment before listing on MLS. I found Rent-A-Wife on Homestars and within a few days, Laurel was able to come by and give me an accurate estimate. Laurel and her team did an excellent job cleaning the apartment and they even did it on a Sunday! There was an issue with the floor (no fault of the cleaners) and one of Laurel's team was able to return two days later to finish the job. Great work -- would hire again and would recommend.

We've hired DG Custom Decor on numerous occasions to repair drywall and to paint rooms. Initially, we hired to Dan to replace drywall that had come loose around all our windows, due to moisture. He did an impeccable job. Since then, he's painted most of the rooms in our apartment as well as some new doors that we bought. Great workmanship and attention to detail -- thanks Dan.

I went through installation services and ended up working Diamond Flooring to install some laminate in my condo apartment. It was not a good experience. First and foremost, they failed to order the correct amount of laminate. The installers only realized this when they came to do the work. So, they had to come back a second time at our inconvenience. The installers themselves were very nice but lacked attention to detail. We found a couple of places where the laminate was chipped or punctured, various pencil markings on some pieces, and grease spots where they had left our door hinges

We bought a custom Palliser leather sofa from Sofa World with the full understanding that there are no refunds on custom orders. Unfortunately, my wife turns out to be very sensitive to leather and the sofa gave here headaches. We waited a few months but the issue did not resolve. Thankfully the management and customer service worked together to come up with a solution -- Sofa World bought the sofa back from us for a reasonable amount. Given that Sofa World had no obligation to help us, we felt very good about this resolution. Thanks Sofa World!
