But more importantly, in the past few years I have required two service calls for furnace issues. Theo, the owner of Heatco, answered my calls , came out to the house as soon as he could and fixed the problems efficiently. I need someone who responds after the installation, and Theo is dependable and excellent. No hesitation in recommending....

I didn't know what to expect when I first drove up to the Beckwith Galleries showroom in Old Ottawa east off Main Street. Bernie, the owner, was great on the phone but I had to make a special appointment to see his displays. It's a nice old house tucked in behind the stone pillars off Beckwith. He has tons of carpets of every make and price, but they are gorgeous. More importantly, he has so much experience with design and helping to find the right match. We needed something that looked good in a 100 year old home on softwood floors and I wasn't sure what would work. (and with a dog) We picked 3 or 4 possibilities, and Bernie brought them to the house and we tried each out in the room. We chose one and even ordered another that we thought might look nice (shipped it too us in 2 days!). Awesome service. Super nice guy, knows carpets completely. Set us up with pads and maintenance instructions and gave us some great ideas for other stuff to match and contrast. Nothing like other carpet dealers I've been to - will use him again soon.
