Bought complete appliance package for my new home. On the day of delivery, the Dryer was damaged. The warehouse folks should have checked it before loading onto the truck. But that’s not the main issue. The new dishwasher I bought, broke in less than 2 week. The door wouldn’t close and it would leak during operation. I called TASCO for service. I was told to call back with a special code found at the end of the SN on the appliance (I wonder why don’t TASCO have that info since they sold the product). I lost 24 hours coz I was calling from work. Called again provided the info and they issued service request to Samsung to arrange for a technician. It took 2 weeks for tech to come. It was found out that spares would be needed to fix. Guess my luck, the parts were on back order and there was no ETA. I called TASCO and they said that they need to check with Samsung. They came back with the same info that parts are on back order and would be available in 1 weeks’ time. Another week passed, still no news on parts. I then escalated and spoke to Silvia in Tasco. It was not easy to get her on the phone as she seems to be very busy all day. Finally after a few attempts, Silvia agreed to do a refund + another $90 that I was asking for installation that I paid to the installer. However she did not leave any notes on the account and when I called customer service to arrange pick-up from my place, they said there are no notes. I chased Silvia again and after a few voicemails, she called me back to say that her customer service manager – Flora will be calling be to discuss details. Flora never called.
I even tried going through the sales guy (Harpal) to see if he can help but he indirectly told me that his job is done once the invoice is cut, Even he was suppose to call me back after discussing with his manager but never did.
Till this day, I’m waiting for a resolution and it is almost 5-6 weeks since the unit is broken.
I could not hold back as I need to vent my frustration and writing this review could help. Here I'm with my broken DW still sitting at home. Based on Directions from Silvia, I headed to store and selected a new DW (of course not Samsung) and agreed to pay the price difference. The store manager said all will be done and he will get the old unit removed and get the new one installed at no cost. This was on Sep 27. I called on Oct 6 since I had not received any info on delivery of my new unit, to my surprise, i was told that Samsung is going to deal with this issue directly and Tasco is just a retailer. Silvia in fact has no clue what she is doing. Not sure who made her a supervisor. She called and left me message to visit store to pick-up new unit and weeks later she is tell that Samsung is going to deal with it. She did not even bother to call me and advise what is going on. I even emailed Tasco's Sales VP - Tony and he did not bother to respond at all. I emailed email@example.com based on the response from Tasco to this review, but no reply. I really dont know what to do now? NEVER EVER BUY FROM TASCO
