Went in about a week ago to buy a Range Hood and a Microwave from the Mississauga Store. Made a deposit, went home and a voice mail was waiting for me from Mike the sales person. That a blower for the Range Hood had to be purchased separately. I went back and showed Mike where the hood was part of/included with the price of the Hood. He so called fixed the issue and agreed that the blower was included with the Hood. Went home got another call that it wasn’t included. I called customer service and was told that the expert who knows about Range Hoods was busy. She took my phone number and told me I would get a call back. No call back to date.
I waited a few days and sent Mike an email advising him that I wanted to cancel my order as I went somewhere else where I got a better price and better service. Within an hour I got and email telling me that the microwave was ready for pickup. I emailed Mike and told him I don’t want the microwave, he told me that I will have to pay 25% of the cost of the Microwave for re-stocking fee.
I called customer service again and I asked how is it possible I have to pay 25% for restocking fee when I didn’t receive the item and the item was process after I cancel the order because of bad customer service. The customer service rep told me she will transfer my call to her Manager, I got his voice mail, I left a message, that was 3 days ago, no one returned my call.
Not all stores are the same but Mississauga store is the worse, not knowledgeable about their product, not customer friendly and quick to take your money and problems to get your deposit back. Not impressed at all.
