This is the second time I’ve used Benchmark Painting for work at my house and I am equally, if not more satisfied after this job. I did my due diligence - calling two other companies for estimates just in case, but they couldn’t beat Benchmark both in price and professionalism. I am still amazed at Benchmark's painters' attention to detail, the perfection in their brushstrokes and their patience and willingness to handle every hurdle. Dana in particular was so agreeable, so helpful and so exacting in her work. Plus it is such a relief for me not to have to move everything in preparation for the painting. every painting, every knock knack, every piece of furniture was moved and replaced without a word. I cannot praise them highly enough. I cannot recommend them more.

I had one of the best experiences I've ever had with any home services company when I hired Knot and Grain to install my new floor. I had been given three names of flooring installers by the company that I bought the hardwood and called them all asking for estimates. Two came up. When Peter of Knot & Grain came, I could tell immediately how professional and experienced he was. He gave me a very fair written estimate and we settled on it right away. As I was installing the floor in the whole house I virtually had to move out, and I was also worried about the furniture. I had been told I would need to move all the furniture out of the house for the installers, which would have been very pricey and inconvenient. Peter said that wasn't necessary. His company would move the furniture as they moved from room to room. It was a godsend and saved me anxiety and money. I was going to be out of town while they were working to allow them free rein. Peter called or texted me every day sending pictures of their progress, so I was aware of everything that was happening. When I arrived home , they were 99% finished and the floor was beautiful and I could tell they had taken meticulous care throughout the house. I cannot recommend Knot & Grain high enough. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! They are simply the best.

Aaron returned my initial call within minutes, even though it was after hours. Offered to come to the house within the next few days. He was very personable, very professional and very efficient, handing me a firm estimate after inspecting the house. I had had another estimate from a less professional company which was similarly priced, however Aaron offered to move whatever furniture necessary, whereas the other quote was subject to my moving all furniture myself. Aaron set the workday in the next week, they all sowed up on time, they set to work, working non-stop and like a well-tuned machine. The jub was completed by noon the following day, with all hail holes and joins filled in and perfectly painted. The painting of my guest suite was beautifully done and all furniture and paintings replaced after. Aaron returned a few weeks later to help with a small personal project to help me out (I am handicapped and was in dire need of a handrail). He did this after hours and quickly so I wasn't left stranded even though this wasn't his company's focus. I'm very grateful for Aaron's professionalism, courteousness and assistance. I highly recommend them.
