For the past several months, our basement has had an increasingly terrible smell. Once we determined that the problem was related to plumbing, and on the basis of reviews on homestars, we called Mike and Drainrooter. I am so glad that I did! Mike and his company get right what so many in the industry often get wrong. He returns calls, shows up EXACTLY when he says he will, constantly keeps you updated on his progress, and doesn't nickel and dime. Mike showed up for an assessment - with no promise of a "minimum" charge - and quickly diagnosed the problem. He laid out what needed to be done, how much it would cost, and the timeline to fix the problem. What happened next what exactly what Mike predicted. He found the problem - a useless pipe attached to the main drain that needed to be dug up - and fixed it within a day. What's more, and especially considering the excavation necessary to complete the job, you would not know Mike was there when it was finished. The concrete pouring and cleanup was expertly handled. Finally, I should point out that my family experienced a health crisis the day of the job. Mike was supportive and sensitive, leaving me with absolutely no concerns about him being alone in the house. You've got a customer for life Mike!

I just want to echo what my wife has written about Jay and his team. What I appreciated most about working with Green Side Up is the sense that I was a valued customer and not just a sucker. Jay values you as a customer and is anxious that his customers have good experiences. He doesn't 'nickel and dime' on the job either.In the process of working on the lawn, Jay and I agreed that I needed a new retaining wall. He agreed to build one at no extra charge other than the lumber - and he made sure to provide a copy of the receipt. Unlike the majority of experiences I've had with this industry, Green Side Up has excellent customer service. Jay either answers his phone immediately or calls back on the same day. While we worked with Green Side on sod installation this time, I'm confident there will be more business with them in the future.
