Peter, Vasyl and crew did an excellent job removing and pouring a brand new concrete walkway about 120 feet in length. They took away all the old concrete in a day, framed it the next day, poured the concrete the third day and finished up on the fourth day. Everything turned out perfectly. With gravel underneath and a shallow slope, all the water drains under the walk out the end into our drainage system leading to a pipe which takes the water away from our house. Water tested, works perfectly, precisely as planned, exactly the way we wanted it. These guys are easy to work with, well organized, hard working and on time. Pete is a real pro. His tile work looks and fits perfect. He is very reasonable, always on time, makes great recommendations, accommodating to changes, uses the best materials, gets the job done in a matter of days, cleans up and leaves nothing behind. There is nothing left to do except admire his amazing work. He did our laundry and kitchen after doing an amazing job on our hall. Pete did an excellent job in organizing his crew and tiling my hallway. He removed and disposed of the old floor, had his crew put down two to three inches of mortar, lined up the tiles nicely including a 90 degree turn and installed baseboard trim perfectly. If you are here, you don't need to look anywhere else. We called a dozen roofers, had eight calls returned and eight showed up. One wouldn't go up on the roof and the rest did. We picked Smart Roofing for a number of reasons. Jerry inspected the roof thoroughly, was straight and to the point, explained clearly everything that would be done and the job was done to perfection exactly they way he said right down to the last detail. He estimated everything based on what he could see and he was careful to make sure that he checked everything to ensure accuracy in his estimate. The contract went over by only $500 as there was some hidden rot and extra material to remove that Jerry had no way of knowing. Extra charges were explained clearly in the estimate and verbally before signing, which were very reasonable. In the end the final price was lower than most of the other estimates and the quality of workmanship and materials were top notch. The job started during the week he promised, even with some rainy days beforehand. It was about two weeks after signing and took two days to complete a combination hipped roof with flat roof extensions, total horizontal area approx. 1350 sq. ft. Everything went smooth, workers were quiet and worked hard all day long, and, at the end of the day, cleaned up and took away the container on the street. Jerry is honest and he will only do what needs to be done unless you ask for more. As I said, he is straight and to the point and he won't take you to the cleaners. You know where your going and when the job will be done with Jerry and Smart Roofing. There is no need to look elsewhere.
