We called Cairns to replace our roof, because we used them before and we were very satisfied. Everything was explained thoroughly to us, there was no pressure, and they did their best to get our job done before the snow arrived. They did a professional job and again, we were very satisfied with the outcome. The roof looks great.

This company is A+ all the way. They return your call promptly. They schedule an appointment and clearly explain all of your options. Their communication is exceptional (both oral and written) throughout the process. You always know where you stand. They arrive, do an exceptional job and clean up so well that you would not know anyone had ever been around your home working. Their workmanship is exemplary. They get an honourable mention for protecting our home, while we were waiting for the roof to be done, so that no further water leakage would occur, thus, preventing more damage. We highly recommend them.

I called Chris when our garage door would no longer open. He called me back right away and he was quick to answer any text messages. Chris came out to our home, as scheduled, and did a quick assessment of our situation. He presented a couple of options. We opted for a new garage door opener. Since it was a Friday, Chris told us that he had to secure the new unit, and he would be back first thing the following Monday morning. He arrived, as scheduled, completed the job quickly and neatly and the price was exactly what he had quoted us. This gentleman has integrity, and I would use him again in a heartbeat. We found Keith right here at Home Stars. Right away, when I spoke to him on the phone, I liked him. He was kind, pleasant and knowledgeable. He asked me to send some pictures of the couch and chair. He told me that he was very familiar with teak furniture and he had reupholstered several pieces. I sent Keith the pictures and he gave us a quote. We met him at his shop and selected the fabric. He helped us by arranging pick-up and subsequently, drop-off of the two items. Keith is an excellent communicator. We could always reach him via e-mail or phone. He completed the job in a timely manner and he did an excellent job on both the couch and the chair. The pieces look brand new. Everything is stitched so precisely and neatly. (Keith does all the work himself.) It is refreshing to deal with someone who takes pride in his work, has a great knowledge of reupholstery, and who cares about the customer. We highly recommend Upper Canada Upholstery and we would use Keith again, in a heartbeat.

We have had many weed control companies over the years; all with dismal results. So, I went looking for one nearby and found Kendall Lawn Care. I was immediately impressed with their customer service and how they came quite quickly to leave a quote. I noticed they have been in business since 1966. Now, I know why. This company is exemplary. They arrive exactly when they should and they do a thorough job. The technician was polite and helpful. He even noticed that our dog was in the yard, and he wanted to make sure that I brought her inside before the treatment began. We have only had a couple of treatments, but right away, we noticed a huge difference. The lawn is already looking fuller and greener. We complimented the technician (I believe it was Marty), on what a great job he was doing when he came last time. We told him that we are now customers for life! It's such a relief when you find a company that does a great job, and you don't have to worry about it. I highly recommend this company. The cost of $170 was for one weed control and one fertilizer application, for approximately one-third of an acre. Of course, costs vary depending on the size of one's lot.

I have absolutely nothing but praise for Latour Morb and Tristar Marble & Granite Corporation. I found Latour right here on Homestars. I left him a message and he returned the call the same day…exceptional customer service. He came out to our home in Caledon East the same night. The following day, we met him at the shop to confirm the colour of the granite. Installation was completed earlier than scheduled (a pleasant surprise). The team arrived on time and did an exceptional job. The granite is beautiful and it really brings out the rest of the kitchen. It was a pleasure doing business with Latour. He is knowledgeable, professional and an asset to the company. We are so impressed that we thinking about getting him to do the granite tops for our washroom vanities. Thank you, Latour and team! This experience was a pleasure from beginning to end.

We have had several locksmiths over the years, with poor results. I called Nick, because he is listed with the BBB and has an A+ rating. He was punctual, did a great job and was reasonable. This gentleman has integrity and I highly recommend him.
