David and his two assistants did a wonderful job of updating my new basement apartment. David created a beautiful mantel for an ugly fireplace and now it is more a piece of art and focal point. I will call on Uptown Décor, when I need any painting or decorating services.

Once again Mr. Rooter has come to my rescue. I had water leaking into my laundry room from the bathroom above. Called Mr. rooter and they sent Marc out to me. He arrived within 30 minutes of my phone call, as he said he just finished a job around the corner. When Mark arrived, as always, the booties went on before he came in my house. Mark checked out the bathtub methodically, until he found that there was a "pinhole" leak up by the shower head. He carefully had cut out the drywall so that it could be reused to close the opening. He fixed the leak by replacing the damaged portion of pipe, cleaned everything thing up as if he was never there. Again I thank Mr. Rooter for coming to my rescue.

I ordered 2 custom made Tranquil end tables plus a coffee table in a brown maple thru my designer back in April/May of this year. When I received them at first the coffee table and one end table were good. The other had a blonde wood center, totally out of place and totally unacceptable for my room. My designer took it back and she had to pay another $70 for a replacement top, which I told her I was not paying. Lloyd's made the error and they should eat the cost. Finally got the table back last week Nov 12th and the colour was red...not a brown maple. She called and Lloyds has told her in no uncertain terms that they will not take the table back, nor will she be allowed entrance to their place and Lloyds want nothing more to do with her. I must say, that I am now stuck with a table that I can't use and that cost me $475 + gst for it alone. My father as a Master Cabinet maker would be rolling over in his grave if he ever seen the first table that was sent. There is no excuse for shoddy workmanship at those prices.

Had Mr. Rooter out to my house not too long ago and never thought to ask the other plumber about my faucet. So called them again as my faucet screams when I go to wash my hands after flushing the toilet. Alexi Klimov arrived within the time frame I requested and quickly told me it was a restrictor in the faucet. He removed it and no more noise. He did a home inspection and found a few other problems that should be taken care of. He advised me about the advantage plan and just charged me for that. I'll certainly be calling Mr. Rooter back to fix my other problems. Thanks Alexi and Mr. Rooter

I know I've gained weight, but didn't know enough to make my toilet all wobbly. Called Mr. Rooter and within and hour John showed up at my house. Not sure if he understood my strange sense of humour, but he removed my toilet replaced the gasket and fixed it all up so that it doesn't wobble anymore. John was very pleasant and explained exactly what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost me before he even started working. Now I don't have to be afraid of falling off the toilet!! Found out about Geovin from one of my associates at work. Went and seen their furniture and gave them my request for a wardrobe/armoire with just a single drawer at the bottom. Gave them my colour sample and let them do their work. Simon who does the finishing of the wood, did a wonderful colour match to my needs and the whole armoire is beautiful. I wish I had known about Geovin Furniture prior to having ordered my other custom pieces. I won't hesitate to return and order more pieces when I need them. I had some major renovations done to my house and really needed everything cleaned. Read the reviews of Maid-for-you and thought I'd give them a try. Soooo happy I did. Barbara, Enecita and Martha were here for approximately 8 hours cleaning every room of the house including basement bathroom and office. They worked hard, moving furniture, cleaning, washing everything. The girls went above and beyond what my expectations had been. My mom and myself thank you for the excellent job you did.
