Bricks were crumbling just below the chimney and I put out a call for a number of estimates from different companies. I sent photos of the damage to these companies, but Carl came to see the damage for himself without bothering me and put in a detailed estimate. It was higher than I was expecting, but I accepted it because he explained how he was not just repairing the damage but preventing future damage. I delayed the work when my neighbour had someone working in the general vicinity and when the area was clear Carl sent over three guys to try to complete the work in a single day, minimizing the disturbance to my neighbour. Not only did they finish in good time, they did a superb cleanup of the ground below the chimney.

This is the third time I've used 1-800-GOT-JUNK and, as usual, the service was quick and very efficient. Kenneth and sidekick Shawn Medeiros arrived when they said they would, sized up the mess in front of them and cleared it in 15 minutes. No fuss, no problem.

When I heard scratching from the wall by our bedroom window one night I feared the worst. In the morning I checked outside and saw part of the siding had been peeled back on the second floor and assumed a squirrel or raccoon had got inside. Troy from GTA Wildlife arrived and established there was no hole in the outer wall, though not before checking the entire area for any other entry point. He cheerfully screwed the disturbed siding back into place and closed another hole with potential to attracted wildlife. Throughout everything Troy was professional, friendly and shared information about everything he was doing. He was recommended to me by a neighbor and now I know why.

We ordered a bathroom vanity and cabinet online and a few hours later got a call from the store pointing out that the manufacturers of each item were different and therefore the color selected might not be an exact match. We hadn't noticed the manufacturers were different and were very grateful for the call. After a few calls back and forth we settled on a vanity, cabinet and faucet that worked. We didn't need the items for a few weeks and Tanya happily waited until we were ready and they were delivered at exactly the promised time. Great products and service.

My old AC had blocked my basement door for a decade and in that time a huge amount of junk had accumulated in my unfinished basement. I needed Cozy World to take away the old AC to allow me to use the door to clear away all the junk. Only then could I replace my 25-year-old furnace. And I needed to find a new location for a new AC. I asked someone for a recommendation for a heating company because I had issues in the past with one of the biggest companies. I was directed to Cozy World. Fred came over right away, listened to my problems and offered solutions to each one. He was back in a day to remove the old AC. After I had the truckful of junk removed the friendly technicians moved in to install a new furnace in a new location in the basement and found a much more suitable spot for the AC. The installation was difficult in such a small basement and they encountered several unexpected difficulties. Everything I asked to be done with the ductwork they did wonderfully. The furnace and AC were perfect for our small house and there was no attempt to sell me something too big for my needs. When it was all done, Fred promptly did all the paperwork to make easy my rebate claim to the government. Cozy World is like its name, warm to work with. You can keep your big players in the furnace and AC world. I like the smaller guys who look you in the eye when they deal with you. They all use basically the same good products -- we got Lennox -- so it's price and service that make the difference. Cozy World adapted to my needs. I checked Homestars reviews before I called them. They were right.
