Have maintenance coverage with Enercare. Phoned for service for my dishwasher, top rack is broken, need a new one. Trans Global contacted me to set an appointment up for Friday, September 18, 2015. Got a call Friday, Sept. 18th, from service man wanting to know the model # of dishwasher, was told he had to order part. Got email Tuesday September 22nd, part is in, call to make appointment for service date. I called, set up appointment for service man to come Monday Sept. 28th. Made arrangements to be home Monday. Got email Friday afternoon that the part was not in and expect it to be in September 30th!! I thought the part was in Tuesday, Sept 22nd!! I live in the GTA where many suppliers carry Whirlpool dishwasher parts! Trans Global is just stalling!! When my dishwasher will be fixed I do no know!! If I was not with Enercar I would get another service company. I went through the same thing with Trans Global in March 2015...Enercar ended up giving me $$for a new washing machine that Trans Global could not repair! The machine was only three years old. I ended up giving it to a friend who repaired it and is now using it at his cottage. I do not understand why Enercar (Direct Energy) uses Trans Global. Enercar is doing their loyal customers a disservice. What a nightmare dealing with Trans Global!!!
I must change the previous review from a "0" to a "5". The Trans Global technician came today, September 29, 2015, and in no time my dishwasher was working! He explained that when he first received the parts for the dishwasher the supplier did not send everything he had requested, the reason for the delay. As soon as the parts were all in he called me. The technician's name was Darmo. He was polite and very efficient in his work. He cleaned up before leaving. Top technician... Trans Global should be proud to call Darmo their employee! Darmo was not at all like the technician that I dealt with earlier in the year with my washing machine. Darmo is a rare find, too bad not every technician from Trans Global is like him. Consequently, because of the exceptional service I received from Darmo I am changing my review from a "0" to a "5".
