Jeff Hayes Contracting is my go-to firm for work on my home. I hired this company for the third time this summer since buying this house two years ago. This time for bathrooms. Previously I had hired him to add a new subfloor to eliminate a step-down living room space and install new hardwood flooring throughout the house. On his second visit he was hired to remove a skylight and refinish the interior ceiling and exterior roof. There were two bathroom projects. The main bathroom was completely gutted (except for tub) and rebuilt. In the en suite I had a shower custom built to replace a pre-fab. I am ecstatically happy with both rooms. The design and workmanship exceeded all expectations. Jeff's team is fastidious, friendly and thoughtful. I enjoyed having them in my home during the demolition and reconstruction. My only hesitation in referring Jeff is that he may become too busy to take on a fourth project in my home! I I am That project led to redesign in some areas, i.e. fireplace, and painting throughout. I purchased a new home and had only two weeks to have changes made before occupancy. I hired Jeff Hayes Contracting to install a new sub-floor to eliminate a sunken living room and install new hardwood throughout the house, which required removal of carpets in some areas and preparation for a new fireplace. The finished job was amazing and timing perfect. When unexpected surprises surfaced related to the old chimney, Jeff handled them efficiently and with charm. His crew were courteous and professional. I feel like I am moving into a new house instead of one that's more than 20 years old. High praise for this contracting firm
