Hi Verdun Team, the new bay window looks excellent. I wish to commend the guys who installed it for a very professional job. They dealt calmly with some challenges posed by my old window and they reinstalled a mirror I have above the bay. They left the site clean of dust and debris. Thanks Guys , you are a credit to an excellent company with a first rate product.

I posted my request on HomeStars and almost immediately got a response from Michel , the owner of The One Roofing. I checked his reviews which were consistently excellent. A quick and reasonable estimate followed, to replace the shingles on our A-Frame 4-season extension. Michel helped me find the best quality, matching shingles and he purchased and delivered the materials. His estimation was exact and very reasonable. I paid half up front to buy the materials and the second half after the job was completed to my satisfaction. He arrived sooner than expected and tarped the worksite well….the flowerbeds were protected, and we did not find a single nail or piece of debris after the job was finished. He transported the waste to the local dump. He showed me how the choice of shingle mattered if I wanted to avoid high wind blow-offs….a strong untearable fabric nailing strip. He showed me the evidence of a poorly-adjusted nail gun driving nails clean through the shingle and thus greatly increasing the chances of blow-off. He layered the ice-water shield and HAND HAMMERED quality nails into the shingles. We hardly heard him…. no noisy compressor , no work radio blaring, no gunshots. He took the initiative by checking and finding that our ridge vent had not allowed enough space between the sheathing to ventilate the cathedral ceiling properly. He enlarged the spacing and recycled our metal cap; this will lengthen the life of the shingles under our high sun Hand Hammered Roofing Excellence I posted my request on HomeStars and almost immediately got a response from Michel Martin, the owner of The One Roofing. He also provided before, during and after pictures. Michel is a true craftsman. He is an experienced professional, honest and affable; a man I could really trust. He is also fluently bilingual. I therefore thoroughly recommend Michel and The One Roofing for roofing jobs such as garages, sheds, house extensions and repairs on full roofs. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Michel. Fabien and his team were excellent....prompt, courteous, hardworking and very professional. Old troughs were removed and very strong troughs put up with the old nail holes plugged and a leaf guard mounted. Extra sized downspouts will really move the winter melt. Fabien suggested some redesign to eliminate water pooling near the foundations and to remedy an overflow problem we had down our porch brick wall. He patiently took the time to discuss my concerns, with a result of a very functional and sharp looking finish. One solution required a reworking of one eaves-trough that the team had already mounted....this was done within a few minutes at no extra charge. The team also pulled out my boat and trailer to gain access and replaced them well. For service and quality Bronson Johnson are demonstrably the best. The price was very reasonable for the quality of materials and the workmanship. I was told that should there be any subsequent issues, they would be there to remedy the matter. The next day it rained hard and the troughs did the job perfectly with no leaks or overflow. No wonder this company is in high demand...deservedly so! They have my unreserved recommendation. Thanks Guys! Bryan

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

He listened, was patient, was an expert, was clean and respectful, fixed the issue well, and was friendly and courteous. He listened to me and discussed the technical issue clearly and understandably. And there was no charge for this expensive replacement part thanks to my sevice and repair contract!
