A discerning consumer from Calgary

In doing my research of granite companies, I discovered many (too many) in Calgary. Not sure how I came across M&GR, but so glad that we did. They were really helpful - even finding the granite slab and ordering our sink. We had a huge corner (80x93") which came in one piece without seams. Costa and crew are amazing - they carried that huge thing into our house. Very happy with quality, responsiveness, cost and their thoughtfulness in laying out the different pieces on the slab. Lastly, you should see his shop - a further indication of the pride he takes in his work.

We went direct to Jadestone for a double bathroom vanity and found a savings of around 40% from going through a contractor or big box store. Jadestone can tell you about the remnant pieces that are available for small jobs like this. It was an easy and professional process from beginning to end - nice showroom with good assistance, then in-home measurements are done with a high-tech gizmo and in about 3 days you have a new vanity installed - presto! I appreciated that there wasn't alot of downtime from not being able to use the sink between removal of the old and install of the new and they showed up when they said they would. These guys know their stuff and how to run the business side too!

United Roofing was awesome. Crew was friendly, fast and did quality work. We got the Malarkey Legacy product with high profile capping and I love the look. During a winter thaw, we had water leaking thru a fan vent. I called Daniel who happened to be in Jasper on a job. He took care of us from there and within a couple of hours a United staff was at our place. Turns out it wasn't a roofing issue, but a vent set-up problem. But I appreciated the prompt response and that they didn't charge us to come have a look.
