We first met Shane at the Home Show, and were immediately impressed with his professionalism and his understanding of what it was we wanted to have done. Initially we had spoken about just a kitchen reno, but quickly realized that once we started, it just made sense to all of our anticipated renos at once. This was no small job, as it included moving a load-bearing wall, and a complete interior demo, from ceiling to floor, and everything in between. Shane kept in constant contact throughout this process, which spanned approximately 5 months. The work included knock-down ceilings, hardwood and tile throughout on two floors, all new interior doors, new furnace and water heater, all window and door trim, baseboards, granite in the kitchen and bathrooms, stone fireplace, and doubling the size of the kitchen, which brought us to Shane in the first place. The kitchen in our home, like many, is the focal point, and never fails to draw compliments when people see not only the cabinets (which are awesome), but the custom backsplash, the island, and the counter tops. Shane was professional throughout the project, which wasn't without it's hiccups, but they were very small when you take time to consider all the trades, sub-contractors, and schedules that have to work together. This was a big project, which we are super happy with. The compliments we get when people see the results, including a number of family and friends that are tradespeople, confirm to us that we made the right choice when choosing a contractor.
