I reached out to Justin @ J Spec Roofing based on a referral and wasn’t disappointed. From the original quoting with Justin to the installation with Jason and the team, the whole project was professionally handled. Communication between Justin/Jason and the crew was evident, and they always kept me in the loop before/during/post-job. Highly professional and courteous. I had intended to do both roofs (Sloped/Flat) in the spring, but a fall leak on the flat roof prompted me to call J Spec in a panic. They were quick to quote, competitively priced and were able to accommodate my advanced schedule. It was a 2-day job (Sloped Roof – Day 1/ Flat Roof Day 2). They tarped where they were working, removed all the old materials (lots of old layers of shingles) via trailer and cleaned up the property after they were all done. Spotless – not a single roofing nail to be found. There were a couple of roof vents to install as well as some flashing. The quality and workmanship are evident…these guys know what they are doing. Justin/Jason + crew were a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend them for your future roofing needs.

Professional, reasonably priced quality windows and great installation services. From start to finish, Roman was in constant contact and following-up to ensure everything went as planned and as scheduled. Installation was done from the inside of the house and all old window materials were removed without damaging the interior of our home. Nice! My job was small, but would definitely recommend if you have residential windows that need replacing. I would definitely hire VLW&D again.

Echoing all of the reviewers here. Found Darby and the team through this site and some referrals. Upon meeting Darby and having him walk-through the work that we needed done (complete dig of the basement lowering, bench, underpinning under stairs, water-proofing/weeping tile, sump pump, HVAC relocation, etc) it's quite clear the Mud Monkey team has done this many times before. Took them around 3 weeks to complete all the work and throughout the job, they communicated progress/next steps daily, kept a spotless work-site inside/out and we didn't even know they were down there working away half the time! I would highly recommend Darby and the team to anyone doing this type of work, especially in homes like ours -- old, semi-detached, with issues only a professional should deal with.

We were doing a full main floor reno of our home which included a new kitchen. Traian and his team were fantastic to work with on the design, IKEA order and installation of our new kitchen. Traian provides a wealth of experience in IKEA design/install and it was obvious through all phases of the process. He was attentive throughout and accept our changes while providing recommendations where needed. His communication skills and prompt replies are a rarity in this business. His install team were conscientious, communicated well and kept a good clean work environment. They always let us know what they were up to and what to expect next (before we asked!) Traian stopped in almost everyday to check in on progress and where needed, performed many of the customizations needed to make the kitchen design a reality himself. Don't let anyone tell you that IKEA kitchens are easy. They aren't. Your kitchen space (even with new walls and drywall like ours) is likely not perfect and adjustments/cuts etc., will need to be made to your lower or upper cabinets, drawers etc. Traian and his team now how to do all this with ease. The last bit of advice, since this was our first IKEA kitchen would be; 1. Hire Traian and his team. It will make it go much easier. 2. Plan early and lock your design at least 3 months before you want to do the install. 3. Order your IKEA pieces as soon as design is locked to ensure delivery and everything is in place in time for the install. Don't wait until the last minute or else you'll be disappointed. We suffered through IKEA supply issues and it affected our timeline a bit and caused some nervous moments. 4. Be prepared to adapt to change.

Was removing a window, shrinking the opening and installing a new window. Additionally, needed major brick repair and double-lintel install to accommodate new window. Glen did a fantastic job. Relatively quick, communicated the work well, was on time and on budget. Even did a bit extra where necessary to ensure the job was done well. Highly recommend. I would certainly use Castlerock/Glen again should I have a need for more brick-work.
