This is the second time that I went through Arco for cedar roof maintenance (the first time was roughly 5 years ago). Just like the first time, Art provided quality customer service that really shows that Arco is a professionally run company. His estimation process is extremely detailed with a clear scope. Dealing with contractors can typically be a daunting task but Art took the time to explain everything in detail. Art also went out of his way to accomodate my scheduling requirements. His crew was also professional, courteous, showed up as expected and finished on time. They also cleaned after themselves, Aside from the fresh smelling/looking cedar shakes, you wouldn't even know that roofing work was recently completed. Unfortunately we are moving soon and our new home will not have a cedar roof. However, I will continue to recommend Art and Arco wherever applicable. He really is as good as his reviews show.

Art and the rest of his team was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The whole process was completely worry-free. We purchased a 25 year old house with a cedar shake roof. We were told by the house inspector to expect major roof repairs because the roof had not been maintained at all. In fact, the inspector stated that the roof might need to be replaced. I got 2 quotes from two different cedar roofing companies (Arco being one of them). I was impressed with Art's genuine care and professionalism. His quote was presented in a professional manner with actual pictures of our roof and it also contained an overhead drawing of our roof and how many shakes would be replaced on each elevation. This showed me that he has attention to detail. He also sat down with us and explained his background, what his company does, what products he uses and we knew he takes his business seriously. We feel this experience was the start of a new relationship. We will definitely be calling Art when it's time to maintain our roof once again.
