My roof started leaking about a week ago during a heavy rainfall. Naturally, it started coming through the ceiling so I knew I needed to do something quickly. Jason from Crown was very helpful, walking the roof to take pictures to show me the problem, taking the time to explain the options, costs and timelines re: the process of shingle stripping, installing new decking and laying new shingles. He answered all my questions and clearly knew his business. His team were on the job the very first day the weather permitted and they had it mostly complete in a single day. Clean up was well done and the roof is working great. I would not hesitate recommending Crown to other homeowners looking for a professional, client service focussed roofing contractor.
On a very rainy night my bedroom ceiling started to leak. I called Homesmart the next morning and Ian and his team were able to come out that same morning to fix the problem with the gutters. Ian is very client service focussed - he called me a couple times that day to give me updates, to check I was OK with them doing some small repairs and giving me a clear sense of what the problem was and how they planned to fix it in the most cost efficient and effective way.
