Alex sat with us and helped design a gorgeously modern front door. We loved their selection of hardware (handles - shapes and finish colours) and were able to find finish colours that suited us. Alex did not try to oversell; I was the one who insisted on a colour for both sides of the door! Installation by Gabriel was very meticulous and clean. Great job - we are completely happy! (We like that the door isn't leaky anymore too! Helps make our house nice and warm!)

We had a very tight timeline to order our windows (we found out with only 6 weeks to go that in fact we did already have fibreglass pink, so at last minute we decided to put that money toward windows and doors instead). At the consulation, Joseph was most helpful in suggesting what types of windows to get, based on the layout of our house and outdoor porch. He also promised that we would get the windows in time for the final provincial energy audit, and he moved mountains to do so. The installers were very efficient and resourceful, dealing with some complicated outdoor features that caused problems reaching the windows. Finally, they were very tidy both inside and outside the house, cleaning up the sidewalk, garden, and rooms of the wood splinters and waste. I am thrilled with our windows, especially the coloured frames we splurged on for the front of the house!

We had a complete stoppage of our drain, which caused any of our bathroom wastes to back up in the basement (ick!). Roy was able to come the next day, and cleared out the "elbow" that goes between the house drain and the main line outside. He informed me that the elbow was old and probably could use replacement, but as long as clearing it out works, I could probably go without (since replacement would be thousands of dollars). He was honest, effective, and with extremely reasonable rates. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone!

These guys do not have a huge selection of tiles, but what they do carry are nice and they really know their stuff. I was doing a bathroom reno and wanted the classic "diner-style" hexagonal tiles for the floor - 1", and Olympia Tile did not have this size (they only had larger and smaller). mettro source had good quality, porcelain hex. They also recommended to me a very nice, sleek looking metal edging for the subway wall tiles, as I did not want to use a bulky looking "cap" tile nor the cheap-looking standard plastic edging. They also were able to tell me what quality grout and sealer to use to maintain my tile looking good as new. Through many issues with my contractor, who was unfamiliar with the nicer looking edging and required more amounts of the supplies, and who also wanted to use their own low-quality concealer, Sean at mettro source was helpful at all times to help me work through the issues. I would definitely recommend them if you want some nice tiles and good accessories.

So Keith arrives first thing in the morning with a crew of half a dozen guys nursing their Timmies. We get home at 5 p.m. at night and there is no one nor a single piece of debris to be seen. Why not? Because a two to three day job took one! Excellent work! Included: 2" of insulation, fixing of some planking that had rotted through where old roof membrane had leaked, surfacing with lighter coloured product (to reflect more light). Am recommending to anyone who needs a roofer. Thanks guys!
