We are extremely happy with the new look of our 34 year old oak staircase which had worn and yellowed over that time. David and his crew worked extremely hard to change this staircase into the equal of any new staircase being installed in a new home today. David worked closely with us to be sure that we had selected the right tone and colour for the treads, posts and railings-not an easy task because the surrounding flooring was a mix of red/orange and yellow maple. When the white risers did not meet David's standard, he added another coat at no additional charge. The look of our new stairs has given a fresh modern look to our home. We were very happy that we had chosen David and UpTown Decor Painting and Decorating to do this project, and would recommend Davis most highly.
