I purchased an Italian sofa and paid in full. Two days later the sales clerk informed me that she forgot to charge for deliver and I’d have to pay or come pick it up myself. Then the sofa leather cracked within the warranty period. Ginger Jar kept stalling on addressing the issue and not returning my emails. They informed me that I have to deal with the manufacturer directly; however, the manufacturer only deals with retailers not individual customers. I contacted many resources who informed me that only Ginger Jar could file a claim with the manufacturer. I pursued this claim for one year until the warranty period expired. Ginger Jar said to not contact them anymore because it’s not their problem. I spent a few thousand dollars on defective furniture that didn’t last the full two year warranty period.
