2/10

I bought this hot tub new from SubZero in 2011 in May, Installed it and within the first month the pump went, got a service call after 1.5 months wait changed the pump and it was running again. Now in January 2013 , the pump is gone again! Fortunately my husband can change it himself or it would have been a service call with parts and labour as the tub is no longer on warranty. Not on well water and well versed in maintaining ph levels. Not on well water we are and ALWAYS were on city water. And PH was monitored and maintained. It is a sub zero issue as they should back up their products and customers not just take the money and run.

Approximate cost of services:
$6,273.22

Company Response

This is a problem with a manufactured product that is out of warranty. We sympathize with the customers issue but have no idea why this complaint is directed towards SubZero?
Both of their pumps have become prematurely corroded and the customer was warned that if they are on well water which has a high ph and if their water is not properly maintained it will cause damage to their pump.
This customers part failed a year and half after the warranty expired, if it was still under warranty it would be replaced as such.
We understand this customers frustration but it is misdirected.
