We had a quote done by this company after going on roof 2 times we paid a deposit and was told work would be done in the next week. After two weeks we contacted the company they then told us the roof would be a lot more then they had quoted but gave no reason why. We asked for our deposit back, in response they ignored all calls from us. Over the next several weeks we tried to get in touch with the company but our call always went to voice mail and messages were not returned. At this time we filled a complaint with the BBB of Canada. After First Roofing was contacted by the BBB, we herd back from them. We were then told a specific time and date were we could get our money. This was a time and date of their choosing and would not let us just come an get the money during normal business hours. As well at this time the company was calling from a different number not associated with the business. I would be very careful when contracting this company. These men are clearly not professionals. In my opinion they were trying to get more money out of us and when the could not just hoped that they would be able to keep our deposit. I do not think we would have had a refunded if we were not persisted in calling and filling a complaint.
